Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Okay, here's what I'm looking for: I want something that won't let me down and will look elegant. I'd rather it were slimmer like around the size of a Spinner or not much wider, but not the size of a vibrator...lol

I'd like something unique in appearance but consistency and quality is more important and price is not an object. I'd like to be able to vary the voltage, as well, with just a twist or small adjustment like on the Spinner. I hate not being able to do that on my Kanger EVOD.

Also, I'd like to be able to use my Protanks on if I want.

Oh, and if I can, I'd like something that can stand up to my bumbling attempts to rebuild and rewick coils and stuff. I suspect that part of my problem could stem from my recent activity although I really can't say for sure. It needs to be fairly idiot-proof.

I've been shopping all over the internet but I'm somewhat overwhelmed and would like some advice from the more experienced vapers.

Thanks in advance, y'all.

Do you mind building your own coils? A kayfun once you figure it out is a great atty. Also Igo-W is great for home use. Carto tanks are also a good choice. As for Mods Id rate Provari and Semovar at the top. Then a Zmax and svd Vamo running a dead last for terms of reliability. Lots of people really love REOs I like Mechanicals But for out and about everyday use its my Provari.

The Sigelei ZMAX V2 is the best device money can buy. I have had mine for 9 months now and it has missed a beat. I've dropped it, slept on top of it and just beat the hell out of it daily and it refuses to quit. It fits 510 and ego stuff so you won't need an adapter. It takes button-top or flat-top batteries so no problem there. It is VW and has a oled screen so there's that. I sold my provari after the first month with this amazing APV, it is built like a tank and has all the features and compatibility you will ever need. If you want different battery options you can get the telescoping model. I only use 18650 batteries so that's why I say the V2 but if you want something you can make smaller that the V3 telescoping version is the one you want otherwise go with the V2.

There is nothing available that fits your description. Form over substance rarely satisfies in the long run. You will have to go bigger and fatter, especially if you want a consistant regulated mod. Tiny slim batteries just are not powerful enough for regulated PVs, that's why you can't find any.

I suggest either the Mini Provari or the far less expensive MVP. Both are elegant in their own way, and both are pocket-friendly. Both will eagerly accept any juice delivery device you choose to put on them.

Really, I'd prefer something that lasted.

I'll probably end up with a Provari...LOLOL

If you seriously are considering a Provari and do think that you will end up with one, I would not buy anything else and just put that $70-$80 you would spend on an intermediate device towards a Provari.

I started with 2 spinners and bought 2 more. Love them, but 2 1/2 months later want more, bought an MVP2. Will love that for a while. I will probably buy a Provari within 6 months. Should have just got one from the start. The Provari is larger than a spinner or itaste vv/v3 whether it is the regular one or the mini.

No one can decide but you. You sound like you pretty much have made up your mind (to me). If that is the case, nothing else will make you happy.

I just wish there were more variety in the way the Provaris looked.

i like the look of the itaste mvp.. been debating that one for myself...
just bought the itaste vv3 10s kit but i havnt had a chance to use it yet.
i was sent the wrong one. I can say that it is elegant, feels good in the hand. looks impressive.
and the chameleon is very nice, it has like green or purple flexs in it.

Well, they do come in several colors, including a new super-polished, Zombie edition, and a limited edition red. There are protective wraps available to dress up your Provari to look however you like. Add a fancy cartotank with a Pro Ring beauty ring. Add a wide base to the Provari to keep it from tipping over with a top heavy tank. The Provari has more after market attachments than any other mod made, including several cartotanks and the ZAP RBA, all especially made for the Provari.

I upraded from a 900mah Ego battery to an iTaste VV V3 last week and i've been very happy with the results. It's got a nice small form factor, yet it also has VV/VW and an ohm checker. Is it unique looking? Not really, but if you want it to be you can get a nice J-wrap for it. It's no Provari but for $31 incl shipping from an Ebay store I can't complain about the price.

Does anyone have glossy metallic looking wraps?
