I could really use your help on this one...
First and most important: I have been using carts and cartos lately; exclusively, out of curiosity of trying different mods... But, I would drip on a regular basis and have never had any problems appart from the typical ones involved in the natural learning curve to the dripping process. However, when going back to dripping... Oh, my gosh! looks like the very Dripping Gods are mad at me for having turned my back on them...! Seriously. I cannot do it anymore......! Have re-started dripping with new atties (some of which I had and some of which I have just bought from a new supplier), 510 for the most part... But I have also used some 901 and 801... Nevermind, the thing is it doesnt matter the model or brand... I prime them (which is rather tricky unlike before) and then, after some 3ish good puffs or so they are 'clogged', sometimes they drain liquid down the bottom, and I get no TH. Have to blow them and start all over. I am using an eGo and the only way I can do away with dripping is bridgeless or without the fillers down the bridge, but in those cases it i a hassle to only be able to vape for a drop, and after a while, if I am 'coned' I end up in the no TH 'clogged' road all the same. I have considered every single factor from my holding position of PV both while vaping and standing, to the minutes I wait for the atty to cool down, etc. Trust me, have considered and tried everything, but looks like my punishment for having disrespected the Dripping Gods is to be condemend to dripping only one drop at a time for the rest of eternity. This is so frustrating...............! What am I doing wrong???????????
On a different note: I would love if you could summarize for me the pros and cons of those as a replacement for cart fillers: coffe filters; coffe filters cloths (as in the Spanish Type) and natural sponge. Would it be safe to use them; do they wick well, and the rest of the main aspects...
Thanks a lot. And I truly trust you are to spare me from my eternal punishment.... heee! Just kidding, but I am really worried.:(

Pablo.

I don't know about "expert." How about the word of a veteran?

I have to pass on your second question about cart fillers, since I always drip. But I guess that gives me credentials for answering your first question. Actually, though, I'm not sure why you are having the problems you report. Dripping always works well for me. In the 801 atty: 4 drops at a time. In the 510 or 901: 3 drops. In the 306: 2-3 drops. In LR versions of those atomizers, I often can increase those drops by one. When breaking in a new atty, I do the same thing, just more frequently.

Hmm. Could it be your battery? Not delivering enough power* to vaporize the e-liquid effectively? Have you noticed any difference between when the batt is fully charged vs. petering out? Do you have more problems with some batteries than with others?

* I do notice a difference between regular and low-resistance atomizers (of course). Even on a 3.4V battery like your eGO (or my Elegant), an LR atty has no problem vaporizing the e-liquid. That's because the net power (based on both battery voltage and atomizer resistance) is so much higher. If you have not done so already, try LR atomizers.

Or maybe it's your e-liquid. Someone sent me a bottle of DeKang (all PG, no VG) juice recently. I'm noticing a significant difference (negative) in vapor production. All my other juice is a PG/VG mix. As you probably know, VG is more effective in vapor production. And, whether it is the flavoring or other ingredients, some juices just put out more vapor and TH than others.
