Travel and Vaping Need tips on travelling between countries where ecigs are illegal

i'm going to be doing quite a bit of flying over the next few months and i am wondering if anyone here has experiences to share about travelling between countries where ecigs are banned.

do you check it in? hand-carry?

i own an xhaler so it's big and bulky compared to those tiny stock 510 batts.
