Hello, I've been vaping for a couple months now even though I've never been a cigarrette smoker. I have the halo g6 which I like, but I want something that will give me more vapor and not start tasting like burnt rubber after a few days. I use nic free liquid, so all I care about is vapor production and flavor. Size doesn't matter because I mainly use it at home. I was looking at the ego, but I don't know a good place to get it. All the online stores that sell them have the store's name on the battery, does this mean that it's a generic one made by the store or do they just put their logo on there? Is there no actual company that makes the ego and they're all just generic from different brands? I just need some suggestions on an upgrade :)

Welcome to the ecf kart

ego is style of battery (and a connection type) so yes there are many different manufacturers (and yes the Joye brand logo is also counterfeited - amazing that Chinese vendors will counterfeit other Chinese vendors)

Here is my 1st recommendation

full ego style kit

Kanger eVod Kit - Black

very fast shipping from this company

and here are my personal favorites after spending hundreds (as in a thousand plus) on other setups - shipping is free and takes about 2 weeks plus - have ordered from them 6+ times and no issues

remember that the local shops and internet vendors get their equipment from china also

I too started with the G6 but quickly moved on and eGo setup. These are the starter kits that I personally recommend through a reputable, American vendor.

Kanger Evod Starter Kit And you can choose from 8 different colors!

or if you are feeling like you want to try a twist style battery this kit looks awesome and I wish that it was available when I started!

Kanger Mini Protank 2 Starter Kit -VV

If you want to do a VV battery with a longer battery life and have your choice of battery brands and tank types, try this one out.

Good luck! You'll really be happy with any of these highly recommended kits.

I recommend getting a protank 2 and a itaste MVP 2.0

Right now 101vape.com has the MVP on sale for $40 (it's usually 60-70). People say it has a really long battery life and works well.

The Protank 2 is really nice, no leaks so far or anything like that. I believe 101vape has them for pretty cheap as well.

good luck and welcome to the forums!

This is the setup I use, and I love it! The MVP and PT2 are a match made in heaven, and I have never even came close to running out of battery life.

That is a great choice, I picked up that first. I do recommend getting one of those batteries that some people have recommended in the previous posts. I have found that when you turn up the batteries anything above 4.0 that the taste of the flavors are a little burnt. I picked up the smoktech SID and didn't have that problem.

So you got the mini protank starter kit? I probably won't be going above 4 volts so I should be fine.
