So I’ve been mixing my own for a while now, but still haven’t really found a bunch of mixes I love.

Mother’s Unicorn Milk (the one on ELR with the ridiculous amount of ratings) is probably my favorite so far.

I vape on a mech, mix max VG and love super dense, heavy, rich flavors. I’m having a hard time figuring out what’s worth trying... even going by ratings on ELR is hard because what was great at 50/50 in a kayfun 5 years ago may be lacking when mixed max VG and dripped on a mech.

Could you guys suggest some things to try or at least help me figure out how to tell what’s worth buying the concentrates and what’s not?

Here’s a link to my Flavor Stash if it helps. Definitely don’t mind ordering new concentrates though.

I vape a lot of custard creams etc. I got most of my recipes from ATF and ELR then tweaked them for my taste buds.

Did you use the What Can I Make option. You can pick the flavors you want in a recipe and it will show you all the recipes made with those flavors.

I can post some to you tomorrow though. It’s too late rn.

Nice stash. Most folks would say Vanilla Custard (Cap) is a must have. Though I haven't tried it yet, I bought some Cake Batter (Cap) to create a new version of Pineapple Upside Down Cake instead where I was using Yellow Cake.

I've been mixing for a year and i'm still very much a student.....I like my custards too...

What I started to do is finding recipes that I both like and that are not too old so 2017 onward. You can follow some mixers and you will get their new recipes in your feed..I often use those as a starting point and then tweak and sub when there is a flavour missing...I learn't quite early on that even a recipe which everyone seems to like you might find meh.

So my advice is take the plunge make up your own and then tweak...I do and i've never made an un-vapeable juice...well others may disagree though :D

I can't see your stash - I just get a blank tab (sigh).

For custards I like both FLV Vanilla Custard and FA Custard. Nice with a combo of creams. I enjoy INW Vanilla Cream, FLV Cream, FA Vienna Cream, FLV Whipped Cream or FW Bavarian Cream. Honorable mention = FLV Vanilla Pudding.

Trying different combinations of those with perhaps the addition of some of the vanilla's would get you there.

Like @charlie1465 said take the plunge get creative make your own and tweak away. I'm sure you'll make something you enjoy.

ECF is like that with ELR. You have to Google "e-liquid-recipes . com" (without spaces) before the revealed part of the address. Then, enter in the rest of the address to the search bar.

Going by your stash for a thick rich custard with what you have (btw you NEED inw custard, neutral & has a short steep also cap vanilla custard v1 & some diyfs holy vanilla will let you make tons of different stuff):
    5% tpa vanilla custard
    2% tpa vanilla swirl
    1.5% tpa Bavarian cream
    1.5% tpa marshmallow
    1-2%% cap NY cheesecake
1% fw yellow cake (I hate this stuff because it has sugar syrup, jf makes a spectacular replacement)
.3% tpa sweetener (or whatever level you're comfortable with)
.33% tpa butter (optional, but bwill add some richness)
    Steep 2 weeks
Hope you enjoy! Should be quite rich.

For a maple twist add 1.5% tpa maple syrup, remove vanilla swirl, up marshmallow to 2% - maple syrup is my current drug of choice lol.
    Happy mixing

I can’t see your stash either but if you haven’t already got it FA Custard Premium definitely deserves a mention as it doesn’t have the lemon notes that their other custard has and also FW Cake Batter Dip is quite a rich flavour that I personally enjoy a lot. All of the others that I can think of have already been mentioned.

Ooh yes, forgot about that one because it's so new to my stash. Worth it for shipping overseas if you live stateside.
Haven't done my sft yet but it's great in the recipe I tried with it. If you do go to chef's uk get flavor creative. Same thing, cheaper & more size options. While you're there I'd also suggest getting fa\flavor creative milk while you're at it since that's not available in the US anymore either.
Butter is the other elusive fa but I believe they carry it at rainbow vapes uk.
I gave in and got cake batter dip as I hear good things about it and it's also one with lowest sugars, the one bad one I'll use lol.
