When I first got blackberry flavoring I put it at way to high of a percentage, it was really overpowering. Same with cheesecake.
So flavorings don't just start losing flavoring when you go over the sweet spot.

If I went higher I don't think it would taste like nothing...I think it would just be more overpowering.

Not all flavorings go to levels 7 & 8. tobacco flavorings, as an example, can completely change flavor profiles instead of going to the next level. And that's not even true for all tobacco flavorings, just a general observation.

I only wrote the blogs because I saw the same things popping up over and over. Figured if I blogged it then I could stop repeating it and give folks a head start from my mistakes.

I'm very glad your blog is there. It really helped me and I point it out to many DIY noobs. Thank you so much for doing it!
