That's odd. I see the prices listed with quantity underneath. If you take a little sand paper, it will turn them blunt very easily. At $33 for 100, it's much less expensive than eBay.

I use ad blockers/privacy addons for firefox... dont know why they would have their listings in those types of things to be blocked...

But what is the reasoning for wanting blunt compared to sharp? Maybe I missed that discussion.

Thanks

Just so you don't inadvertently draw blood.

This is a great price, but it's coming from Asia. It will take awhile.

Plus it's only 1mm.

Shipping took about two weeks. Not bad considering the price. I've seen larger syringes on eBay for a similarly good price, but I'd recommend to any DIYer to get a bunch of 1mm syringes. It's much easier to get accurate measuments with a 1 mm.

Two weeks isn't bad at all. I do use 1mm when starting a new recipe in 3ml bottles, good point.

How easy/difficult is it to get the liquid through an insulin needle? Those things are tiny.

You are correct - next to impossible.

So, I used pliers to twist the needle (proper) out of the syringe. (Carefully discard - I wrapped mine in bathroom tissue and flushed.)

That allowed me to use these on pg and vg. It does not hurt to warm the 2 liquids first. TFA flavorings did not need warmed.

You flush insulin needles?

Ok I have a question about the Slip tip needles, specifically 1ml/cc size.

Can these connect/work easily with bottle styles from MBV? Ive found its pretty easy to use a 20ga needle with a luer lock 1cc. just stick the needle right through the drip tip on the MBV style bottle. Could I do this with the Slip Tip styles? Or even if I have to the take drip tip off the bottle, I just dont want to have to dip the syringe down into the bottle if I can avoid it.

I was eyeing up these Amazon.com: 1 ML TB slip-tip disposable syringe MVI 100/bx (without needle): Health & Personal Care

Thanks

Maybe I don't understand. Are you asking if you can attach luer lock needles to slip tip syringes? If this is the question, the answer is yes. Sometimes it's hard to get a good seal, so you definitely need to make sure it's on good. Can you rephrase if it's the wrong answer?

Oh ok, yeah that wasnt my question, but thats a good answer too :) I might go that route, as the needles arent too expensive if you buy 100.

I was mainly just asking if I can use the syringes without a needle, and still get similiar results trying to draw out of a "MBV bottle". preferably without having to remove the flavoring bottle drip tip.

I want to get atleast 100, 1ml syringes to keep for specific flavors, so I wont cross contaminate flavors. Im just trying to find the cheapest way to do that :p

This place has some pretty inexpensive blunt needles.
