What is the smallest gauge useable for eliquid. Here at the office we have tons of diabetic needles 29-32g. Bit they look too small. We also have some larger ones but the biggest I've seen so far is 25g. what is the bare minimum that will suck up a maximum of 70/30 vg,pv viscosity

It depends on how thin the liquid is that you're trying to draw. A 25 gauge would probably work ok with PG but not VG. They'd also likely work ok for flavorings. For VG I like something in the 14 to 16 gauge range. For a 70% VG mix I'd probably want something around an 18 gauge minimum.

Man 18g is large! Idk what wed do with one that large. Ill have yo look around maybe I can find something larger

I have a 18ga for mixing and a 22ga for filling. The 22ga will pick up 100%VG reeeeeeeaaaaallllllyyyyy sssssllllloooooowwwww. The 18ga picks it slightly less slow, but slow, none the less lol.

I found out that 18ga needle is good for filling cartos, etc, but to fill a syringe with 18ga needle on is PITA.
