About a month ago I bought a 501 starter kit, an Ejoy. That helped me quit analogs and discover the joys of vaping, so to speak.

However, the dismal battery life convinced me to try to find anotehr product/device for my day to day vaping. After some research I decided to go for an ego 901. Unfortunately, that has been a less than stellar experience. With all my batteries failing the same day I received it. I asked for replacements, which were sent, but in that case the charger proceeded to fail.
The final tally was 2 batteries dead, 2 chargers failures.

I am about to pack up the entire kit and send it back to the retailer, but aside from the failure, I really liked the "Baseball bat" batteries.

However, recently I also saw a e-juice container where apparently I don;t need to constantly drip juice into the cartomizer and I wanted to try that.

As I was at the beginning of this adventure, I am now completely baffled once again by all the choices.

One side of me wants to just buy 2 additional "baseball bat" batteries for my 501, plus a charger and whatever that device that keeps the jiuce in quantity is called.

Unfortunately, after visiting several retailers online, I have been unable to find one that had reasonable prices as well as all those items in stock.

Eventually I will invest into a Box mod, but I really would like to find one that looks halfway elegant. In the mentime, I would like to either switch to a 901 (if there is any advantage over the 501) or simply add larger capacity batteries, a charger and (whatever that device is called) to my 501.

I already have a USB passthrough (which should be part of any kit in my opinion) but I wouldn't mind buying anotehr one for security.

If anyone that reads this has a good supplier that has all these items in stock and that they trust, or you have suggestions on how to proceed as far as my "phase II" kit, I would love the help.

As I said above, if it wasn't for the multiple failures, I loved the 901 but it has been a lot of work. Also please tell me the name of that device that holds the juice and allows you to vape without constantly refilling. Thank you.

Thanks Guys, the Riva is what I had bought and malfunctioned. So I will stay clear of them until I can get reports that they work more reliably. Out of 2 kits I have had 2 charger failures and 2 out of 4 battery failures. I don;t think anyone can blame me for wanting to try something else.

Thank you for clarifying the name of the device I could name :)
Claromizer! That's what tit was. I want to get me one of those.

Above all, I want reasonable reliability and good power. But I am also looking for a well stocked supplier where I can buy all my stuff at once. So any good recommendations (above those already received) would be appreciated.

BTW, I am in Norcal. Sacramento to be precise. I looked, but could not find any reputable retailers here. If you know of any please let me know. It'd be nice to be able to just drive down and buy what I need.

Try looking into hoosierecigsupply.com. I bought a RIVA from liberty. At the same time, I bought a eGo 1100mAh from Hoosier. Both have been good so far, but the 1100 mAh eGo from hoosier is awesome. I can get 20 hours from one battery. It fits 501 threads, so your RIVA stuff will work with it.

He also has the dual coil cartomizers (1.25 and 1.5) that work great on the eGos. He is out of the clear dual coils. I have all three, and they are all made of awesome.

I think you will like the 501 threaded batteries, as everything seems to be compatible with them.

Check out MadVapes. They have awesome products and even better prices. They have a mod called a RoughStack V2 that would be a great choice to move up into something with a long battery life. They also carry a PV called an e-Power which is basically an eGo with a replaceable battery (1300 mAh).
