Negative experience with Notcigs.com (VVPV device)

Hi All,

I'd like to share with you ECF members, my very bad experience with Notcigs.com

I ordered a VVPV device on June 20th (15 DAYS AGO).
Order number #5058
I paid for the order the same day.
My order was never shipped within 15 days! (today is July 5th. 15 DAYS after I placed and paid for my order).

When I ordered the device it looked like an "in stock" item.
Here's a screenshot from the page of the VVPV device from their webshop:

Do you see "out of stock" anywhere?
If you check the image you can see: "Current stock: 175" !!!!!

It pretty much seems like an in stock item to me!
So I ordered it.

5 days later (June 25th) my order was still in "Awaiting shipment" status. (and still is)

I asked them:
- why is my order still "awaiting shipment" after 5 days?
They said:
- "We hand build our PVs so it takes a little time"

Then WHY isn't that mentioned on the page of the VVPV product?!
Why isn't it described as a "BUILT ON DEMAND" or "BUILT PER ORDER" item?
There is NO any kind of information about this on the Notcigs website!
Though on the front page you can read this: (screenshot from their website)

"We build the Buzz Pro and IPro per order because of all the variations FYI!!!"

It's okay, but I didn't buy a Buzz Pro, neither an IPro.
The VVPV isn't mentioned there are as a "built per order" device!
Also because it says: "Current stock: 175" !!!!!
It seemed like an in stock item!

I wrote and email about that I am being unsatisfied with their service because I purchased an in stock item (which seemed like an in stock item) and not something which will be built within WEEKS.
They HAVEN'T EVEN responded that email!

Later:

July 3rd (13 DAYS after I placed my order!):
I asked: "Will you ever ship my order?"
They said: "I forwarded your message to the shop to check on your order"
THAT WAS 2 DAYS AGO!!
And my order is still not shipped after 15 DAYS! This was the last message which I received from them!


My order is still in "Awaiting shipment" status.
After 15 DAYS they still haven't even shipped my order, which contains an item which seems apparently as an "in stock" item!!

So, dear Notcigs.com! (if you ever read this)

I'd like compensation for the problems you caused with your misleading website informations!
There is NO information about shipping the VVPV device many weeks after placing an order!
You SHOULD inform your buyers about that!!!!!!!!! This is NOT the fair way of treating your customers, that you put something up into your webshop, it looks like it's in stock, then you don't ship it for WEEKS.
It's not fair, not correct and not OKAY at all!

Where is the "We ship the VVPV devices 2-3 weeks after order placed"???

So I'd like this resolution as a compensation:

1 - Ship my order immediately!!! And ship it with a much faster shipping method which I originally paid for. (with NO EXTRA shipping cost) I've been waiting for 15 days for my order to be shipped.
This is ridiculous!

2 - If the first resolution/compensation is not acceptable for you, then I WANT FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY!
You are sitting on my money for 15 days and I never received anything.
You haven't even shipped it!

Yeah thanks for the great resolution.
You were keeping my money for 15 days without any reason.
When I placed my order it was in "awaiting shipment" status for 5 days.
I asked them why haven't they shipped it already?
They said: "We hand build our PVs so it takes a little time"

After TEN MORE days they tell me that my order cannot be proceed because they don't ship to my country.
It's very interesting because on their "shipping page" on the website they say: "We can ship virtually any address in the world." (If you scroll lower, you can see the original screenshot with this text from their website)

So, for first they tell me my order will take a little time (even if the item was indicated as an in stock item).
Then they tell me they don't ship to my country (After 15 days) even if on their "shipping" page they say they ship world-wide.
A lot of misleading information, a lot of fake excuses.
They are not willing to solve any faults they make, they don't bear any rightful criticism or any rightful negative opinion.
When you are angry on them because they were keeping your money for 15 days without any kind of reason, they call you a "person with anger management problems".
So they actually called me an idiot, just because being angry for keeping my money without sending out my order for 15 days and then canceled my order without any real reasons.
Then they deleted the original thread in the Notcigs forum, because they don't bear the truth that they did a big mistake and they were not willing to compensate it in any way.
This is why I'm summing the situation here in this thread.
Oh and by the way my money (refund) still hasn't arrived.

Long story short:
- If you order something from Notcigs, do not be surprised if they won't ship your order for 15 days even if the item is indicated as "in stock".
- If you DARE to complain, they'll delete your complaint/thread from their forum.
- If you dare to complain, they'll say they don't even ship to your country, even if their website says they ship world-wide.
- If you are angry because you feel like you were ripped off (because they were keeping your money for 15 days and you didn't get anything for your money), they'll humiliate you by calling you a guy with anger management problems. (this happened in the original Notcigs forum yesterday when I started a thread similar to this one. They deleted it.


I'll never ever buy anything from these kind of people again in the future.
I've been vaping for about 3 years. I have/had about 120-150 e-cig devices. I was one of the FIRST vapers here in Hungary. I never had any problems with any e-cig manufacturers/vendors/suppliers.
This is the first time I became angry, because of their attitude, their lack of problem solving, their lack of good will, their arrogance and impoliteness.

The refund was issued, we have no control over how long it takes your credit card company to process the refund.

I told you that we could not ship the li ion batteries internationally, just the batts, not the rest of your order.

The order was cancelled because you requested it.

The person who said you have "anger management issues" was not a Notcigs employee.

I closed the thread after the refund was issued because there was no reason to keep it open for more responses. The owner of Notcigs deleted it because the issue was resolved.

Now I will ask admin to close this thread for the same reason, issue resolved.

I never wanted to buy Li-Ion batteries. I ordered an E-cig device.
If the batteries (which are included in the price) cannot be shipped to my country, then you should have contacted me within 15 days and ask me if I want to keep my order without batteries or not.
I would have said: YES
I don't need more batteries. I only needed the device.
I still don't know why my order wasn't shipped for 15 days. I don't think it has anything to do with the batteries, but honestly I don't care anymore.
I just wanted to clarify that I was never contacted during the 15 days about that there is anything problem with my order or if there's any reason why it's cannot be shipped.

The order was cancelled because you requested it.

I asked you to ship my order (because I've already waited long enough) OR to refund my money.
You chose refund.

Anyway, end of story:

I received my refund yesterday. I would say that I'm happy about it, but I'm not.
They had my money for 20 days, I wasn't able to spend it for something else during these days and I never received anything from this company other than:

- Some strange excuses such as: we didn't ship your device for 15 days because the batteries included in the price cannot be shipped to your country. (??) Who cares about the batteries? They are available everywhere. Even in my country locally.
- And then a vulgar and gross comment from BuzzKill which was deleted by the admin. BuzzKill's comment was quite a surprise to me, because I never said anything about Notcigs, which wasn't absolutely true. I only told my own experience with them, the way they handled my order.
This is what this thread (Reviews of Suppliers - Negative) was originally created for, as far as I know.

Since I received the refund, this thread can be closed if the admins want to.
