Hi there new member here! I was just curious if anybody was having issues with thier nemmy clone not accomodating mnke's in a way that prevents the battery from being fired? In other words the mnke seems too short and no adjustments made remedy the problem. My nemmy clone has the permenent beauty ring up top and silver plated pins. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Thanks for the quick reply! My nemesis beauty ring is permanently attached on the top cap. Some pictures i see show a polished piece installed between the two main 18650 tubes. Ive tried taking mine off but its press fit i believe. In fact ive tried rubber gloves, strap wrenches, taping the pieces to protect them and mounting in a vice lined with rubber pads. I then tried a kamry fuse to shim the battery, but now the switch is super long. It works but sometimes missfires, aargh, oh well.

I have a really hard time with takign the beauty ring off my neme. I read on FT forum that you have to use as little pressure as possible. I didn't understand that until one time, I was really gentle with it, and it came off. It sounded so strange, but i guess it's so thin, it grips the threads when you apply pressure. Perhaps a little penetrating oil will help too.

If you can't take it off, you might want to get a kick.

I have a few real Nemesis, Be vary gentle when taking off the beauty ring. Use rubber/gloves (something dry to get a grip, but be light with the grip) and gently twist it off. As far as I know, no real or clone nemesis have any press-fit or permanent kick rings. If you have ot heat/freeze the section to expand/shrink the threads and then very carefully take it off.
