Had to remove the beauty ring and then turn out the switch really far but its kickin now. Runnin a plume veil clone on it.

If by 'turn out the switch' you mean that you unscrewed the switch screw that touches the battery, you're going to have issues with that unscrewing over time. If you mean you could not screw the switch assembly in far, my switch button has a 2.4 mm gap to the lock ring with a flat top battery and no beauty ring and I think that's pretty normal. Button throw is about 2/3'rds of the gap.

It's a great mod. Best of luck with it :thumb:

The nemesis SS clone from FT is the only mech I still sport. Normally I use my Sigelei 100w or IPV mini, but I still like the sleek lines and simplicity of my Nemesis.

Not sure why you would have to take out the top ring. What kind of batteries are you using. Protected batteries? Seems like the battery is too big. That's the only reason you would have to unscrew the the firing button out so far. If the button is out too far you will find it really crunchy.

I just got my Nemesis in the mail today and hated it for the first hour. For being a mech it sure
took alot of tinkering to get it to work and look right. Once I got it right it has been perfect and because I dont

I fixed it. Had to tweak the bottom screw which I didnt realize it had
You can't "tweak the bottom screw" on a Nemesis. The bottom screw is not adjustable.

To set up for Nemesis, follow these simple instructions.
1. Unscrew top cap from mod.
2. Loosen firing pin on top cap.
3. Screw atomizer onto top cap until snug.
4. Tighten top cap firing pin until snug.
5. Remove switch assembly.
6. Screw top cap snugly onto tube.
7. TIGHTEN FIRING PIN ON SWITCH ASSEMBLY AS TIGHT AS YOU CAN GET IT BY HAND.
8. Insert batter from bottom of tube.
9. Screw button assembly onto tube until snug.

In reality, it is even easier than it sounds. If you are currently using your Nemesis with the bottom firing pin in any position other than as tight as you can get it, you are doing it wrong and you are playing with a pipe bomb. I've tried multiple flat top 18650 batteries in my Nemesis without the beauty ring with no problems. I haven't tried any button tops, but it seems like there would be plenty of room.
