I am sure this has been posted elsewhere but I haven't found it yet. I have heard it said that the Stingray switch is somewhat superior to the Nemesis switch. Is that a fairly accurate statement? I ask because I have several Nemesis clones and have been more than happy with them. Am considering picking up a Stingray clone, probably from FT. So my original question about the switch applies, and also which Stingray version on FT is most recommended by an actual owner?

I actually own both a copper Nemesis with a magnetic upgrade and a Stingray X. Both switches were "crunchy" out of the box, but break in after a bit of use. I will say that the Stingray switch seemed to require less break in time and would fire from almost any press. The Neme needed and still needs to be pressed dead center to get it to fire. But as in all things, YMMV.

Hope this helps.

I have both Stingray X and Nemi and with the Nemi I switched to magnets (2 on top and 1 bottom) and love it with a little noalox. The SRX was a little to "loose" and would fire sometimes standing upright so I switched to a spring and love it also with a little noalox on the pin.Hope this helps and good luck.

I own two Stingray X clones an SXK 1:1 and a Kepler "18650 only" version along with a FT brass Nemesis with hybrid adapter and magnetic switch. All of them have had "zippy" switches for the first few hours of use but ever since then they have been really pleasant and smooth, the Kepler Stingray X and the Nemesis are still in my daily rotation and are about equals.

Dont discount the Nemesis....They can be had cheap and they are a good little mod....

Agreed.

I have 3 (well, I have 2 and my wife has 1) authentic Nemesis. 2 upgraded with authentic Atmo magnets (we actually got the Zodiac switches for these), and 1 with a spring. They have extremely smooth buttons. You can't even really tell the difference between the magnet switch vs the spring.

The Nemesis is probably my favorite mod out there (and there are a LOT of great ones), there is just nothing that hits like a Nemesis.
