Just got my hcigar Nemesis today!!! This thing hits hard as hell! It is the 2 tone color and I have it matched up right now with my brass nimbus clone. Pictures of this thing do no justice, it is beautiful. Love everything about it except the switch :glare:. I will be buying the magnets here soon to upgrade it. If there is anybody looking to buy one of these do not hesitate. You love it. Just take my and the others recommendation and buy the magnet upgrade for the switch. Anybody else got a great Nemesis clone or original that they love? :vapor:

A buddy got one and to us it is a pos. The switch is clunky and the unit is thin. He also got the magnets so we put them in and still not good. You could set the unit down and it would fire, the magnets are not big enough. I got the caravela clone and it is much smoother and thicker body, plus I can set mine down without it firing. He boxed it back up and put it up for sale.

Oh man sorry to hear that. I don't have those problems at least the setting down part. The switch is a bit clunky but that is only with some tanks when you have to drive the switch screw all the way to the max. As for the magnets cant say how they have not tried them yet. But have heard a lot of people say it has made the switch a lot better. I don't mind the size of the Nemesis at all. Its a good size and a different size for me since I am used to carrying around my Itaste VTR. But hey its not for everybody. Glad you did find something you liked though.

Gower, an easy fix for the Nemi clone switch, is to take the switch housing apart, making sure to not lose the locking pin, and remove the small spring inside, put it back together and smooth as silk. Make sure the Negative contact screw is tightened down good, other wise it can back out and cause a misfire.

fatdaddy vapes sell the magnets and the extended pins for a good price. Fast shipping too, then you can use the kick beauty ring without the kick. check it out.

They also have the magnets for many other mech mods too.

Love the Nemi 2 tone clone, was my first mech, but love my Stingray Copper Black by JD Tech, so much more, don't tell 2 tone that though, she'll get jealous. lol. Nemi was my first mech.

Yes they do make the switch much better. Plus he has flat top 18650s and trying to get the pins adjusted so the battery don't rattle was a pain, the pin had to be unscrewed almost to the max to the point of falling out for it to work. Mabey he just got a bad unit not sure but gl to you with yours.

I have 3 Nemesis clones. No big complaints except for clicky switch. Body threads could be tighter to keep tubes in alignment. Cloners err on the loose side when it comes to threading and switches. Clone reviewers seem to prefer loose buttery threads instead of wobble free tight threads.

Considering the price point it is quite a bargain. Just a couple issues from perfect.

umm, hmm, well first off the switch post is not intended to be adjustable, it merely screws in to be able to take apart the housing. It should be tight otherwise it can back out and misfire. Flat tops fit fine in the Nemi, if you are having problems it is most likely because one is trying to use it without removing the 1/8" kick beauty ring when not using a kick. Remove the ring, tighten the switch down, and she will fit snug and tight without any battery slop. If you want to use the ring on must get the extended center pin to make everything fit nice and tight, unscrewing the switch pin to adjust for battery slop is just asking for trouble down the road.

Awesome thank you for the help!!

My pleasure, I looked for some time trying to find the extended pins so I could use the beauty ring, and finally found fatdaddys from another forum. Good quality stuff, and some excellent supplies for all mech users.

I've had my hcigar nemesis for a while now, bought from vape royalty and got the magnets at the same time. I actually just installed them tonight and they definitely made a huge difference. I never had a problem with firing sitting upright and still don't with the magnets. I did notice that while sitting on the button unlocked, it was a little wobbly with the spring but with the magnets it is nice and stable.

If the switch tolerance was tight it wouldn't wobble even with weak magnet or spring. Strong magnet or spring does help mask button wobble.

I ordered a one SS Nemesis clone and got two. I had ordered a kayfun parts kit for $2.59 and instead of getting that.... I was sent a mixed edition Nemesis for free.... errr... for $2.59. So, now I have two nemmies. Love them both.

For those who don't know.... the switch pin is NOT adjustable so don't even go there. Add or remove beauty rings for proper fitment and then tighten down the switch. Also, if one set of magnents doesn't support full weight with tank.... add a 3rd magnent and it will work. Easy.

Nobody is that lucky:p Pic or fib...lol:)

For stiffer switch I use magnet size thin washer shims. Can use masking tape etc. I have a punch set and make thin washers to fine tune switch effort. I can fine tune switch effort almost as fast as batt swap. My 18650 chemy has stiff tuned switch and 18350 chemy has soft touch tuned switch. Great feature.

So I am a little confused here guys. My pin on my switch does move. I tried screwing it all the way down but I still have a lot of battery wobble. I don't have the kick ring in or the beauty ring. So not sure what is going on. If I adjust the switch pin then it does fire and I don't have anymore battery wobble.

You sure you don't have beauty ring on top? My mixed edition has TWO beauty rings. My SS only has one.

Got the Fatdaddy Vapes kit but my Hcigar Nemesis won't arrive until tomorrow. The extended pins definitely look beefy. They supposedly have quadruple silver plating. However, they don't quite look like silver to me. Don't appear to be chrome or stainless either. Nickel maybe? I'm sure it's fine but I will be doing a voltage drop test after I get the Nemesis to verify. Hope mine hits as hard as others are reporting.

Contact pin at the bottom is adjustable. Turn it all the way towards the base to shorten the throw.
From top to bottom, if you are using 18650, you should have
Top cap - Upper tube - Lower tube - Switch base
No beauty rings.

Installation step is
Lower the pin on the top cap - mount the tank - adjust the pin - flush the bottom pin - install battery - thread the bottom base

If you are using EF battery with button top, you might see a slight gap between the firing button and bottom base. this will cause the mod to wobble. If you use shorter AW IMR, the gap will go away and wobble will stop.

Using three magnets will support most of toppers and tanks at unlock position.

Lastly, there are lots of "HCigar" Nemisis sold online which came from HCigar but are similar to FastTech Nemesis quality. Thin tube, extremely sharp threading, crunchy button. Real HCigar Nemsis (comes in HCigar logo box) have thicker tube, smooth thread, solid firing button. Easy way to identify cheaper HCigar is, top cap vent hole is much smaller and seam between the tubes are almost none. Real Nemesis and real HCigar Nemesis both have a clear groove where the tubes join tougher.
