Hi, i am having the same problem as this post below link where my Nemesis Clone doesn't fire well and the bottom switch gets hot. I was able to get it working again by sanding the pins, however this will only last for a day and i have to sand again to get it working again. Is there a way to prevent this? what could be causing this constantly and sanding it would work again? I always thought mech mods are a simple device that connects your positive and negative with a manual switch. Do I need get new set of pins? This is getting very frustrated since i don't want to carry sand paper where ever i go. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

If your are using sand paper to clean the contact, that could be part of the problem. A much better alternative would be crocus cloth, it's a very fin grit emery cloth made to be used on metal. When you clean the contacts you want to leave them as smooth as possible, scratches left from sand paper will hasten the oxidation you're cleaning off to reform.

If you own a dremel, you could also use a cloth buffing wheel after the crocus cloth to give the contact a real high sheen. :)
Home Depot should have the proper sheets, rather cheaply.
