Nemesis, to kick or not to kick, that is the question!

Hello fellow vapers!
I'm currently running a simple vamo 350's stacked on a a9 with a single paralleled(2 strands wrapped together)tricrocoil running at a perfect 1.2 ohms at 6v (real 6v because of stacking) and I am getting a damn good vape off this, in fact id say im almost satisfied...almost lol. So the add/tinkerer in me is saying i need more more more. So i decided to Get A) a mech mod and B) a better RDA and C) high drain batteries. So this is what i want.

fasttech(dotcom) /products/1411/10005773/1448300

Its the nemesis and then il buy this RDA

fasttech(dotcom) /products/1411/10005773/1651001

it's the 3D, and it looks like the perfect RDA you get the best of all possible worlds here, Duel coil set ups and running sub ohm and all the holes are bored out to where id want them and it has a reservoir that holds over a ml+ of juice, honestly guys these two together seem to be the best set up i could find for under 100$ (please do correct me if im wrong and gives examples of a better set up lol because this is a month of research coming to head here for me). My only problem is i want to throw in those new Efest IMR 18650 2500mah 35amp Flat Top Battery and with all that power im a little worried lol! So i want at least the protection of a kick (seem logical right?). So my question is, is there a way to get these batteries to work with a kick in this mod, can you buy an extension tube? and if so where, or will i have to settle for Efest IMR 18500 1000mah 15amp Flat Top Battery and a kick? I just want to be able to Do sub ohm builds like the .8 ohm duel coil dragon coil or possibly in the future a .3ish ohm stove top coil, is this even the right set up for me? Sorry for my noobish questions!

The only thing I can think of is that the 3D doesn't have a standard 510 connection, but rather a hybrid threading for the Nemesis, so you won't be able to connect the 3D to a normal resistance checker. You may be wise to purchase and learn how to use a multimeter.

As for your kick question, if you decide to kick, not all kick drop-in modules are equal. The Evolv Kick2 for example can fire as low as .5 ohms, and can give you up to 15W. If you're going to sub-ohm to the levels you want to, it wouldn't make much sense to kick. A kick1 won't fire at low res. The Evolv Kick2 is a DC-DC device meaning you will get a decent vape from it. Clone kicks may well use PCM output, giving you an inferior vape.

I would say Kick - no / multimeter - yes

If you are worried about battery safety, and don't feel confident enough to go unkicked, there are other regulated VV/VW options, like this, pricey but there are other chipsets that can acheive high wattages, like this

A kick fits nicely in the Nemi at 18650 mode. That is exactly how and why I ventured into the mech world. Great way to start, and get safely into the sub ohm zone. Of course one may find a time when the kick isn't used any more. Have mine in a beater Origin clone with the TGS clone on top. Still gets vaped from time to time, but rarely.

Recommend getting 30-35 amp 18650 batteries though, more useable power, and when you kick the kick out, have great bats for straight mech use. A good set of training wheels is what the kick turns out to be.

My opinion on mods is why use them if you're going to use a kick. Might as well go with a VV VW device like the VAMO 5 you're using. I do the same thing and stack 350's on it when I use it though it's getting very little use since I built my own VV device.

Use high quality batteries in the mod like the other poster said like the Orbtronics with a high AMP limit of 22 to 30 amps. When I was using mods I would periodically drop the battery out and feel it to see if it was getting to hot or extra warm and it virtually came out room temperature every time. IMO with good batteries the likelihood of a breach or explosion is very minor at 5 ohms or higher. The trick is good batteries, a charger with protections like the Efest 4 bat charger which gives readings and even has charging power options, and at least two dated batteries rotating should keep one safe. Of course high drain, high quality name brand batteries being the most important.

I have the exact setup you want and it sucks!
I have the 3d with a nemmy.... I hate it. The squirting action is sloppy and juice tends to creep out of the sides when pumping. And it can leak through the center post all the way to the battery!!!! it's because of how the the deck has to screw on.

I have the both the Vv and vw kicks from Fasttech and the voltage one is better ... it's less than 10 bucks and I only use it when using my 18350 in my Sentinel M16 clone. The wattage one doesn't hit very well compared to their voltage one... I don't know why. But the difference is noticeable.

Also does anyone know if you put the nemi in 350 mode, what battery would let me sub ohm at the .3-.8 range n still get great performance like the sony's?

Like the poster above said, don't sub with 18350's. Theoretically, you could with 10.5 amp efest's but why chance it as they aren't high drain and may not be IMR. But run 1 ohm coils and even sneak a .9 on there but don't push it. you won't get the same watts but for out in public who wants to blow 50 watt clouds anyway.

I just dropped a 12w kick in my nemesis/kayfun lite with a Sony vtc5 & it does everything I need it to. image.jpg
