Issues with the Smoktech kick

Hey, I bought a smok tech kick recently it was working great, but am now having issues where it wont work with sub ohm set ups on my rda It fires with standard resistance 1.3 or higher. Im using new Efest IMR 18500's with my mod.

Anyone else experience that?

the kick can be used with 1.5ohm~6.0ohm atomizers, with the 5W~12W variable watts, sequence with +/-1W.

that was from a product search. The smok kick won't work at sub ohm builds. plus it maxes out at 12 watts. Tis why I chose the evolv kick 2, works at .5 ohms and up to 15 watts. Since I vape my builds at 15 watts, when I went mech's, the kick 2 was the only choice for me. Even the original kick would only go down to 1 ohm builds.

Thanks dice57, I'll check out the kick 2 and give it a try. Strange thing it was working at a .8ohm set up for awhile, just glad I didn't fry it straight out of the box like a few other people I know did.

My pleasure, I did a lot of research before I purchased my Nemi clone and the kick 2. The kick 2 also has the 2 contact pins which eliminate most of the misfire problems that the version 1 had, Plus improved power control. Makes for a super consistent vape. Every bit as good as my Provari cranked up to max output without having to mess with the voltage control.
