Heh, everyones favorite payment processor shut me down today, so everything is on hold for now. PM if you need stuff.
So, it's finally time to retire the old thread, as I've got new connectors and new prices!

I'll try to clarify this as best as I can, as the old thread had a lot of people asking questions, and it'd be great if they can all be satisfied in this post.

Nomenclature:
Battery Connector: The connector that is found on the OEM battery
Atomizer Connector: The connector that is found on the OEM atomizer
Adapter: Used to convert a battery connector to a different battery connector, so that a different style of atomizer may be used. The first number is the battery connector you are changing, the second is the atomizer type that you would like to use. For example: 801->901 signifies that an adapter would be employed to allow a 901 atomizer to be used on an 801 battery or mod.

Connectors available:

510 - The connector found on an OEM 510 battery. Allows the use of a 510 atomizer. May also be used as a 401 atomizer connector. Price $3.75 per - bulk pricing is of course available.

401 - The connector found on an OEM 401 battery. Allows the use of a 401 atomizer. May also be used as a 510 atomizer connector. Price $3.75 per - bulk pricing available.

801 - The connector found on an OEM 801 battery. Allows the use of an 801 atomizer. Price $3.50 per. I know this is higher than it used to be, and on orders of more than 10 I'll still grandfather the old $3 rate.

801A - The connector found an OEM 801 atomizer. Used for making adapters so that you may use different atomizers on your 801 batteries or mods. Price is $4 per connector.

901 - The connector found on an OEM 901 battery. Allows the use of a 901 atomizer. Price $3.50 per. See above on new pricing, if $.50 is really going to stop you from making your mod, PM me and I'll make an exception. I'd rather lose half a buck than have someone not be able to make their mods.

801->901, 801->510, 801->401;
510->801, 510->901, 510->401;
901->510, 901->801, 901->401;
401->901, 401->510, 401->801

$7 for the pair of connectors and instructions on how to do it yourself, $15 assembled. They're not the prettiest thing in the world, but they work. 90 day replacement warranty against failure on ones that I assemble. 401->anything else is *huge*. 401->510 is absolutely massive.

Preferred payment is paypal, but I do accept checks or money orders. Shipping is via USPS unless you would prefer another method. Any order over $100 must be shipped priority mail. USPS shipping prices are as follows:
First Class Mail - Domestic: $2 - generally takes 3-5 business days to get most places.
First Class Mail - International: $5 - Generally takes a week or two, except Canada, they seem to get their stuff incredibly fast.

Priority Mail - Domestic: $6 - 1-3 business days, includes tracking number that I generally forget to PM or email you unless you ask me for it.
Priority Mail - International: $16 - Travel time depends entirely on country, I recently had an order to china sit in Jersey for 10 days before they sent it. Sometimes the customs form# lets me track it, sometimes it doesn't. Whee!

For Fedex/UPS prices, I'll have to get you a quote, but they're more expensive, and UPS just leaves crap at my door without knocking. I don't like UPS.


PM me, when ordering, PLEASE PLEASE put the type/quantities desired in the payment notes so I can keep track of everything, my email inbox is a mess. Also, please do _NOT_ send payment as a gift. Nerf I was just wondering if you have made any 901 connectors so that the bottom could be threaded through say use a nut to hold it in a mod? I am making mods and right now epoxying the old battery fitting into my mods..It would be a lot easier to have one that I could put a nut on the back side to hold it in. Please let me know if this is something you could or would be willing to make. Thanks for your great services....

Sorry wamp, but the MoQ on brand new designs is prohibitively high, your best bet on that would be to find a tap/die set for the connector and thread the backend youself, then tap the threads into a nut.

Thanks Nerf for the info..I did find another way of working it out with the RCA plug mod for battery connections that I am going to try. If I can find the forum link I will post it so others can use it too.

I may need to order some battery connectors from you in the near future.

So... a question from a noob to mods..

If I am looking at a mod that uses a 901... and I want to use a 401.... what do I need to get?
What is the difference between a connector and an adapter - what is the purpose of each in a mod?? (Believe me, as common sense has it and my English vocabulary being above par, I thought this would be easy to figure out... however... LOL I am not presuming anything where e-cigs are concerned anymore)

A connector is just the connector, you'd use it to make something that that style of atomizer could connector to, an adapter has 2 different threaded bits on it, allowing you to screw it on to one battery and then use a different style of battery threads to screw something in to it.

Do you have any pictures of a 901 to 801 adapter? This may work for my needs as it would have threads on both sides. Also what would be the cost of those....

Hi nerf, nice job on finding these. How is the connection made on the positive center pin of the connectors? Is there a solder tab or something to solder to without blocking air flow through the center connection? The pics only show the atomizer side so I can't see what the other side looks like. TIA

The 901s I've got on hand already have a 3/4" or so wire soldered onto the outer edge of the center pin on the bottom side. You could either splice that if you need longer, or just replace it altogether. I wouldn't worry about airflow though - I personally always seal the center connection so liquid doesn't get inside of my mod, the change in airflow is minimal but will result in a slightly better throat hit.

I can adapter it up then if I want to try others. It's going to be a 3.7v mod.

Wouldn't it restrict airflow completely on some models? 401 comes to mind.

My 510 connectors are actually sealed from the factory, there is no center hole. I've had no issues with airflow thus far and run plugged on everything.

Since there might be someone else interested on this I am posting this request on your thread instead of sending a PM, I hop it is appropriate.

Would you consider selling RCA adapters (male RCA to battery thread) for the 510 and other popular attys? I would really like to get a custom RCA mod and a member has agreed to build one but I haven't found anyone that sells the adapters.

I might consider it, if I get a chance I'll run by fry's this weekend and give them a look. They'd run about $20 tho, I don't have much time to make stuff these days so anything that needs actual assembly comes at a premium.
