Interview was Friday night and was AWESOME! Too bad corporate bologna and all that jazz will keep me waiting another week or two before I find out if I got the job!! But the interview lasted an HOUR! And only maybe 1/2 of that was the interview questions, the rest was them telling me about the job, the city, etc. So I'm happy! Thanks for all the good luck y'all I really appreciate it ! ! Now the next 2 weeks is going to drive me NUTS!! LOL

Just got an email to set up interview #2 with the big bosses tonight!! I don't think they'd bring in the big dogs for a second interview unless they planned on giving me the job. SO unless I totally screw the interview up tonight, wooooohoooo!!

I've been keeping myself busy with another lil side project just to keep my mind off this. Just waiting for any word is torture! Especially since I've been trying to get this job for 1 1/2 years lol!

Thanks again for all the kind words and advice y'all. It's really appreciated! Once things calm down again I'll be back to PIF'n like crazy

I'm expecting a phone call for a phone interview in the next couple days that could lead to a HUGE promotion! I'll have to move to a different state, but it will open up some opportunities that I just don't have where I'm at. The worst part is the waiting! Then, if I do get the job, the worst part will be moving! lol

I work in a Data Systems computer room for a pretty huge company and the move would be to go to the main IT operations center and work in networking!

Good luck, as a fellow IT person I am glad to hear some folks are finding network jobs. I have over 15 yrs of IT experience, 13 working with networks and can't seem to buy a job. If I apply for general labor jobs, I am over qualified, if I apply for jobs I typically do, they either get someone on a work visa ( ie. 1/3 of the pay ) or someone who knows someone. I will pray for ya, keep us updated.

Got the job btw That's partially why I've been pretty vacant from ECF lately.. Busy busy getting ready for the move and all that! Hate moving but excited about a new position, new city, and TONS of more responsibilities!!
