NET Noobie dry or fresh tobacco

Hello fellow vapers

I have lurked around the DIY section for quite sometime, seldom bothered top log in cause I am more of a reader(lurker) than a poster.
Logged in to send a pm and then....Found this NET section.
Opposite to what I usually do(read posts for hours straight)I am now asking here to cut down on reading time.
Do you use dry leaves(as they dont contain water) or it doesnt matter?
I live in Norway where nothing is legal and everything is expensive so it would be easyest and cheapest to buy cigars, cigarettes or snus, although i would prefer organical grown leaves.

I am sure this info is somewhere on this forum but i want to start tomorrow.
Should i just buy....?
Was thinking about a cigar. Can i use plain cigarettes? Or will i get the 400pluss poisens that come with it?

I would stick to cigars or pipe tobacco . Just chop it up and then macerate how ever you decide Start with small amount to not waste too much PG/VG/PGA depending on how you plan to extract it.

If you want to use plain cigarettes, stick with additive free companies, such as American Spirit brand. Their RYO tobaccos would make great flavor extractions.

It is OK to use very dry tobacco, as long as it has not gone stale. Fresh would be better, though.

I will do a smaller batch, but in Norway PG/VG costs "nothing" compared to the cigars or pipe tobacco.
To import 2 OZ of tobacco taxes would be about 22 usd tobacco not included

Well the main reason would be no taxes.....OMG...$22 usd...and no tobacco just taxes......I thought it was getting bad in the states!
