Guys, I'm fed up of this. Here is a review of the two e-cigs I have used so far.

The Ruyan Nicocig Plus+

1 Star.

vaping: My cheeks literally turn purple trying to get a decent draw and the atomizers die too easily. Far too impossible to clean.
Taste: Horrible and disgusting.
Battery Life: Dissapointingly short.

The Gamucci Classic Pen Style V2
1+1/2 Star.

vaping: I could easily vape.
Taste: Whatever flavour I use, it tastes like crap. Leaves a nasty aftertaste in my mouth
Battery: Decent life, actually kept me going

3rd Time Lucky: SOMEONE SUGGEST A DECENT E-CIG! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

I completely cleaned out my gamucci pen style atty and used a fresh blank cart with Double Flavour 32MG Golden V Flavour juice. Couldnt taste it at all. Left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth.

Not heard of either of those 2 which usually means they aren't popular.
Ones people use most are the Joye510, the KR8 and the DSE910 (at least I think that ones still up there on the popular list lol). All are fairly simple use.
The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum go here. Read the 'wonderful world of vaping, yes all 6 threads, they aren't long to read as it appears. Lots of info about the pros and cons of ecig makes.

If I were going to make recommendations to someone I knew, it would be buy a few 510 mega batteries + charger. Buy a bunch of KR808 cartomizers, either filled or empty. Buy a 510 to KR808 adapter.

Watch the video on how to do a quick refill on cartomizers. And then buy a few bottles of highly recommended juice from a highly recommended site in flavors you think you will enjoy (both juice and sites can be found on this forum).

I think it would be the cheapest and simplest way to get some experience with ecigs, while still getting products that work well.

I'm new to vaping too, but my experience with the Joye510 and their attys have been really good.

As far as the juice issue... good advice above to check for already highly recommended flavs, then try a small sample size.

I'd have a look see in the "for sale/trade" thread. You might be able to find some good deals on gently used supplies so you can try a few. (but i'd still say to try the 510)

I would recommend the Vapor King from Vapor4Life. Very simply, it puts out. Great flavor, throat hit - and now superb vapor with the new premium cartos.

You just screw on the cartomizer and vape. Get a pass-through for the computer and/or car, a wall charger, a couple of XL manual batteries, and some extra juice for refilling, and you'll be a happy camper.

Read Wonderful World of Vaping! It is loaded with great information.

I recommend that people start with a Kr8 model or a Joye 510. If you drive a lot or if you despise fiddling with stuff try the Kr8. If you want more vapor and the feel of a more powerful hit start with the Joye 510. Don't worry about it too much. Many, many, many people go through several models in their quest.

I personally have several models and a couple of mods that I use at different times depending on the circumstance.

from my experience with the Gammucci, they are horrendous for leaking liquid in a mist or droplet into your mouth, I think that is where the bad taste is coming from. My recommendation would be, If you are looking for flavor and cart capacity go with the kr808 (kits from v4l are super nice) if you are wanting vapor go with the joye510 (not a lot of flavor, great vapor). My actually recommendation would be to get the kr808 kit and some adaptors for the 510 atty, a 510 atty and some extra 808 carts and try both, not much more to add the 510 and adaptor and then you have some test ability. You could also get a 901 adaptor and that atty and really be able to find what works for you. Would add maybe another $30 for the 2 attys, adaptors and some carts for each of the attys.

IMHO, you should get the following:

A 510 starter kit from cignot.com.
Along with that, get an extra atty and batt
A PCC charging case
A passthrough
A few juices that get good reviews here.

This will get you learning and involved with a very good PV system right away, and one that can be easily improved upon in the coming months. I think you will love it, and you won't spend a ton of money on it. 510 gear is among the best, and the least expensive. It is a 3-piece system. For a good 2-piece cartomizer system, I recommend the KR808d-1. Both of these are among the most supported, modified and discussed systems on ECF, and among vendors.

Good luck!

Excellent. I have read decent things about the KR808d-1 from vapor4life, and I tried it out myself the other day. TBH, I wasn't too sure about it, but I'm chalking that up to the liquid he was using. I'm using some rough 26mg Camel stuff, and he was using 11mg cola flavored, sprinkled with pixie dust, with butterflies fluttering about. (I bet there's an extra charge for that)

I ordered the $65 510 kit from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. last week, and this week I ordered a $35 510 kit for backup.

I'm kind of thinking I should order the KR8, just so I have a real personal opinion about them, people keep asking me. I'm on the verge of hardware overload.

Really it depends on what you want and how much you are willing to spend.

If you don't mind a little maintenance and would rather fill carts, I'd go with a Janty eG0 for about $75 plus at least one extra atomizer. If that's more than you want to spend, a Joye510 kit from cignot or rockymountainvapor can be had for 35-40 bucks (search here for a coupon code).

If you would rather just pop a cartridge on and go, a KR808D from nhaler, vapor4life(Vapor King), or several other vendors can be had for a little or a lot of $$$ depending on the carts, cases, etc you need. Plus the carts can be filled once they are used so you can re-use them saving money in the long run.

Check out the 6 part Everything You Wanted To Know in the library section here and post what e-cig aspects appeal to you and those that don't and we should be able to help nail down a better choice for you.

Good luck!
