Newbie with a melted tank?

Hi to you all. I've been vaping for about 5 months-starting with the pen style and hAve now evolved to the istick100w with a kangertech subtank which is made of polycarbonate instead of glass.
I've been filling the tank with the usual bubblegum and fruity pie flavours.
A friend told me to try a different company which must have been my mistake. It was some sort of cherry concoction which tasted so horrible. I rinsed the tank as I usually do. It's turned milky white and I can not get rid of it!! What is it? Why is it? It still tastes horrible of the old flavour. Do I need a new tank-preferably glass again??

Youve damaged the polycarbonate and there is a very real possibility that it will begin to leech chemicals into your juice. It might have already done so, and could be whats responsible for the bad taste youre experiencing.

Sour juices can and will crack plastic tanks.

Buy a pyrex tank and you will never have to worry about this happening ever again.

What has happened and why not vape? I still have a nautilus mini that is glass and fits on the mod. Looks like I am in for another glass tank tomorrow.

You must have had a Subtank clone. A genuine Subtank is made of Pyrex, not polycarbonate. If you thought you were getting a genuine Subtank then you've been had.

I am not saying the juice that turned your tank white had this.... but (???) I have seen acetone turn plastic/acrylic cups white...

It was a clone-the only the coils and bottom part are genuine-the tank itself isn't. I will purchase the proper tank in the morning.
Not had this happen for months with my other juices. Should have never tried this new brand. Thanks for the help everyone..

If i use a plastic/acrylic drip-tip it taste like acetone (diy menthol) and only use glass bottles and tanks and

I can only describe the taste of pencil shavings and a slight petrol taste. Horrible.

If the FDA should be regulating anything it should be plastic tanks !. Not that they have anything to do with it.
