This economy has had me down in the dumps the past week or so. With tax day fast approaching I ended up owing $1700 this year:(. I am also 2 car payments behind plus some other back bills. It was starting to take a toll for sure.
The wife needed some stuff from the store so we stopped in and she bought a $2 lottery ticket. Got it home and it was a $20,000 winner!:D
I have always kept faith that when things get back they always seem to work out if you keep faith.

P.S anyone got a few gallons of juice for sale?:D

Congrats! Sometimes good things happen at exactly the right moment.
You aren't kidding about that. I'm looking at the thing and still doubted it was a winner. Took it back to the store and they scanned it and confirmed it was. Think I will be taking a personal day tomorrow to go claim it.
Wonder how much the government will take from me again?

Funny part was my wife stopped at the liquor store for her bourbon. I asked her why she wastes her money on those scratch offs? Guess I'll be eating crow for a while.:D

Wow! Congratulations. I gamble constantly here in Vegas and have never come near winning anything that big. Pay off debt and save some away for a rainy day.
I hear ya Houdini. Best I did was winning $2500 on a quarter slot in Atlantic City one time. The wife outdid me this time.:)

That is so wonderful!!! I'm really happy for you and the wife. (Pay the taxes up front, if they let you... then, you can really enjoy your winnings.) Janty and PureSmoker had juice in yesterday and TW still has some 36mg. last I checked.

Best of Luck! It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!:)
Definitely paying up front on the taxes and what I owe for this year also. Had to borrow from a retirement fund to survive this year and the gov. nailed me $1700 for it. You'd think they'd cut us a break in this economy but no. I'm sure alot of other people are in the same boat as me.
