New 1.8 801 mini

P16, same adapter i've been using since taking up 801s, although i did just get a new 'stealth' adapter. But a warning about that... not all 801 attys work on the slim adapter... the band comes down too low on some attys and cuts off airflow (the band ends up flush with the topcap when screwed on). My most recent mini did not fit on the new adapter, but the fullsize I've put back into service does.

I'm not having any trouble with the mini HV atty i put on some time ago now, though i use it a lot less frequently. The HV at 6v gets blasted with more power than the LR at 3.7v. Every one of the mini LRs has given up on me in a short time. I'm just gonna stay away from the mini LRs for a time and see if i've got better luck with something else. I'm reasonably well stocked with attys at the moment, so i've got some to choose from

That's cool Vm. If you are having issues then there might be indeed some underlying reasons. I do know that Isaac's attys run hotter than most at the same resistance rating, so maybe 1.8Ohm is too ow for the design because the 2s friggin rock.
