batteries are among the cheapest things to buy for vaping, yes.

Reconstructive surgery is NOT cheap, and cheaping out on batteries is one of the best ways to CAUSE that.

I don't ever resent buying batteries, I am HAPPY I can buy batteries from a reputable supplier.

Just.... Save the type of thing you got for when you cannot ACTUALLY get reputable batteries. Right now, you have so very little to lose.

Someone "giving" you something is just NOT always good. For example, someone "giving" you an STD. Just because it's FREE doesn't always make it, you know GOOD.

I wouldn’t use those if you paid me to.
What if your choice was to use them, or revert to smoking?

Let's not lose sight of the fact that the OP lives in Macedonia. It's one of the poorest countries in Europe, formerly part of the Yugoslavian Federation, and has had much strife as recently as the 2000's.

It's real easy for us to say, "Go buy some good batteries from a reputable vendor", actually doing that is likely much more difficult for the OP than it is for us.

I probably would if I was super poor, I wouldn't be happy, but I'd also be thinking "You American (cesoreds) we don't HAVE reconstructive surgery here, knock it off."

I have been rich and I have been poor, and while some standards do not change, I can imagine that if I were poor some things would matter less.

Also if it EVER came down to it (thankfully it has not) and I was homeless, I would spend more time scavenging for the tiny ends of like, cigarettes so I could smoke one than I would FOOD OR cans, which like, cans are like the bottom of the barrel economic unit when it comes to currency. You have to trade in like 5000 cans to get ten cents.

It's not worth the calories.

in my country there are 3 types of 18650s cells .. unknown .. fake VTCs & HG2 .. and rewarps like efest and mxjo
if you must use one of them .. id recommed you use the rewaps at your own risk ! since they maybe a rewarped
10 A cell .. right now i have the efests and they perform realy good and i ordered 30Q and the cost of shiping is 3
times the cost of the 6 cells because most shipping compaiens refuse to ship battries and only one agreed with
additional "danger cost" and 3 weaks shipping time ..

Ok, so, just to get a tip on topic, I saw the markings and I googled them. They came from a battery pack for a solar panels, made for working non stop for 72 hours, output is 35wats, continuous , on 3,7 v output. So till my new batteries come, is it safe to say I can use them, let's say, on 35/40 Wats? Regulated mod* I must add that :)

Btw, yeah, we are a poor country :/ the thing is tho, we don't have access to most things that EU offers, so we travel to Greece, Bulgaria ( talking from my experience), to get the things cheaper, and to get them at all. Here we have one vape shop, that holds monopoly, and they are usually out of stock on many things. And the prices, don't get me started on them. For a basic mod, batteries not included, you pay at least double than any other site, for instance on AliExpress the price is 30 dollars ,here is at least 90/95 dollars...ejuices are 8 dollars(aprox) for 30ml. I work, my wife works, we have enough for living :) but, I want to kick back on the nasty habit of smoking, so here I am, asking dumb questions for things that I really should, in a normal country, just go to a local shop and get them, like batteries :/

Look at the bright side: It sounds like you don't have to suffer under the restrictions of the EU's TPD, which limits liquids that contain nicotine to being sold in 10 ml bottles, and at no more than 20 mg/ml strength.

Oh, and $8 for a 30 ml bottle is not terrible. I hardly ever buy pre-made liquid anymore, but when I was buying it some years ago, $15 per 30 ml was fairly average here in the USA.

I found a guy who is "legally" getting those e-liquids here, and I get 200ml, in 50ml bottles, I choose flavours, for 20 dollars atm, so not complaining haha, also he sells 60ml bottles for 6 dollars...they are originals, they taste pretty nice, but the only fault I found, I guess he is on collaboration with the guys making them, some of the stickers are removed, not on all of them, but some...I guess for resell purpose, and that's why they are cheaper...

What is the amp rating, or continuous discharge rating of the battery? That is the most important specification for vape batteries. I'd like to see the link to the batteries you found.

I might, considering your situation, use the batteries in a decent regulated mod with no more than a 30 watts setting, while occassionally monitoring the battery for excessive heat. That way if the batteries you have have just a 10 amp rating you wouldn't be pushing the batteries that hard.

I have ....ty net, but we measured the unit I have, it's 15a continuous, 3,7...last night we left it overnight on a charger...

Unknown cell from an unknown source, left on a charger overnight!?!?

You really are taking a risk! As many who understand these things will say- we do not recommend unattended charging for any cells.

Be careful, it's much safer not to leave a battery unattended when charging. It's really not advisable to leave a battery on charge overnight. You need to be around in case there is a problem.

If you can it is much better to use battery that has been properly tested by somebody independent like @Mooch. He is very experienced and does proper thorough testing in a controlled environment. It's important to measure the temperature that the battery gets to over the discharge period at different current levels.

Batteries degrade over time, especially when they are pushed towards the limit. Your cell may be able to support 15A right now, but in 3,6 or 12 months time it may well be a different story. Leave some margin for error.

It's good to ask questions when you are not sure about battery safety, lots of knowledgeable people on this forum. Most are happy to point you in the right direction, to help you reduce the risk. It's also important to follow the advice given.

Some of the comments may seem a little harsh, but most people on here want you to be able to vape as safely as possible.
