I'm sorry, I wasn't implying you need to double up the springs. I'm just saying I got two stealths straight from COV and both had 2 springs installed that way. I like a little more resistance in mine and it works fine for me that way. The only reason I even found out there were two springs in the new button was because I took 1 out to trade for an old style brass button.

Thanks H, when I got home I was going to take apart the buttons and put them together if they were suppose to be that way. I don't like taking buttons apart, so will leave them as they are.

Thats true Mosh. As for the springs, they will stay cheap even if they are made like this but because they are responsible for the bad or good connections, its the only part we have to make it right.
Yes, the most corrosion-resistant metal known- if I googled correctly:lol:
Sounds good!

All buttons came with one spring inside Vapor. But if you order a replacement you will get 2 springs together. People that got a stealth with 2 springs inside button was by mistake.
Also you have to be careful when you put 2 springs inside button. You have to see if the post still makes contact because the 2 springs dont allow button to totally go down when you press it.
My 2012 button which came with my SS Stealth came with only one brass spring. Hmmm....

I'm glad to hear that I don't need to add another spring in there because I really don't want to. My button works just perfect and I really like the tension it has right now. It's softer and easy to press but not too soft where I would be afraid that it will activate if I just breath on it. Thank you, that's good to know!

fuse springs stays as the are Vapor:)
Will that change characteristics of the two springs in a fuse kit if there is a short? What I mean is, will they still be able to "melt" quickly enough to avoid a potential catastrophe? I'm just curious... Thanks.
