New 510 Cartomizers Not Working With My New Hello 016

I just received my new Hello 016 today along with some 510 cartomizers and the cartomizers aren't working. I'm a KR808D-1 user, so I also purchased an adapter to be able to use my 808 cartomizers. Those work fine on the Hello so I know it's working, but the 510s won't work at all. Any suggestions?

I know this is a silly question, but are the 510 cartomizers blanks? Is it possible they sent you blanks by accident?

They did appear to be blanks so I filled one with juice and still got nothing. It seems like it's not making contact. There's no crackling sound at all, just air with no vapor. Is the cartomizer adjustable with the screw inside the threads?
