Yesterday, I sent two grands in for retrofit and one VV for conversion to mech....hope I haven't jumped the gun.
I for one can't wait to get a new Woodvil and resin REO with this new 510 connector. They will be the only REOs I'll be needing. I will be finally on the same page with all of you REOnauts out there. Due to my physical inabilities which have slowly increased in the 4 years of using REOs the simplest of maintenance's have become issues but with help from Rob and suggestions for many of you with "workarounds" (needed uniquely for me) plus this new 510 connector my REO life will be perfect once again.

Surprised that the SL LP isn't really that much lighter than a Lp grand. Hm
ETA: I wonder if I got sent a blem by accident. I got pretty deep ding marks inside the mod, and it came with swirl marks around the 510 catch cup :/

No clue. I've just been pretty bummed because my non- blem copper vein came with chips on the body too
not that it mattered in the long run since im really rough with my mods. The TRA is fated to become my beater mod that im sure will take a severe beating. Side note: the SL made me realize just how thick the body is. I love that! Good study mod. Can't complain.

I dont no what dings your talking about but could this be milling lines ? This is a tumbled mod the machine lines will show on the inside of a tumbled mod
Oh oh like I said it doesn't bother me that much at all, since it doesn't affect the functionality anyway and this fella is destined to be my beater.
That said, the swirl marks were on my mod fresh outta the bubble wrap. At the time I took the picture, the only thing I had done was done a Squonk test without an atty on. But yeah it def isn't an issue since I use mostly 22mm atties.

I wasn't offended were pretty good about quality control . That is definitely ding on the inside of the mod for sure . If you would have contacted me I would have swapped it out for you . I wouldn't have made it a blem though not for a ding inside the mod .

Recieved Reo #3 today. Silver hammertone LP/SL.
The new connector is beefy and it squonks really well. Love the hammertone finish, it feels really nice.
Now to say goodbye to #1 & #2 so they can go home to Maine for some new guts.

hi! Genuinely curious: for those with the new 510, anyone find that the grub screw slowly works it's way down by itself, such that you needa tighten the atty once in a while or readjust the adjustable grub?

What I have noticed is if I bang my mod either pretty hard or several medium hard times on the table / counter it will loosen slightly.
Its happened twice to me. If it happened to me when I was out, I just tightened the atty and adjusted my grip so the air holes are where I like em and fixed it when I got home.
I might pack a spare wrench in the car too.
