new 510 kit question

Well the instructions specifically tell you to make the first charge 8 hrs. I remember asking my supplier about it and he confrirmed that you should do it on the first charge. After that the 510 batts charge in about an hour or so. Now I just wait for the green light. All I can say is that I followed the manufacturers instructions and my batts work well and hold thier charge as expected.

I also confirmed that it's safe to leave them on the wall charger after you get a green indicator light. The wall charger has a switch to prevent overcharging.

I leave mine charging until I need them. I change out my battery (use only manual) first thing in the morning then go to work for 10 or 11 hours. When I come home I swap out the battery again. At bed time I swap out again. All this time there is one battery on the charger. At work I use the usb.

I have not lost a battery yet.
