joyetech makes the 510 and eGo most web sites identify when they are selling joye attys.
I believe SLB makes riva and the attys that come with them and you often see attys being sold identifed as SLB
There are many manufactures of 510 attys some good some not as good but generally ECF suppliers sell what they feel is the best quality. No one wants to carry inferior products because there is so much competition they would lose business if their goods were not up to par. If you read the forums for a while you will see certain brands recommended by people often. Such as Boge cartomizers, I am sure Boge makes attys too but I don't recall ever seeing them anywhere.

The battery is a 750 mah. Lasts me about 6 hours each. Your mileage may vary. Working voltage is 3.3-4.2v. Average 3.7v. I think there are Riva batteries available at 1100 mah. The higher the mah, the longer the battery will hold charge.

I do love my Riva. Its my first, so I don't have any comparison. It produces great vapor. Throat hit depends on the juice to me.

so after doing research on the riva 510, theres some things im un clear of, it says the battery is a 2.2 ohm is that good? like, the higher the better? or the lower the better? do you think im better off going with a joye ego?

2.2Ω is the resistance of the atomizer. LR low resistance attys 1.5 to about 2.2Ω make more heat and more vapor. standard attys 2.4- 3.2Ω are cooler and last longer. HR or HV High resistance or high voltage attys 3.5-5+Ω are for High voltage mods.

Batteries do not have ohms.

Batteries have volts (strength of power) and mah (length of charge)
Atomizers and cartomizers have ohms of electrical resistance (lower runs hotter)

The batteries on the Riva 510 Lite Bundle I got at Liberty-Flights are 750mah. The atomizers in the Riva Lite bundle there are 2.2ohm. Those are low resistance atomizers so they give a hotter hit. You cannot use LR atomizers or LR cartomizers on a slim 510.

Voltage-wise - some say the slim 510's are 3.2 volts and fat EGo and Riva are 3.4 volts. My Riva 510 does seem to vape my 510's standard resistance Boge cartos a bit warmer and w/ more produced vapor than on the 510. The Riva can also use LR cartos which would be much hotter.

Riva 510/Ego and other fat battery 510s can use standard or LR atomizers and cartos, and can use their own fast charger

Slim 510s can only use standard resistance atomizers and cartos and their own 510 charger cable (the LR parts or fast charger can kill slim 510 batteries)

I was thinking of getting an LR atty for a bigger TH and more vapor. However, I have the Riva 510 with the 2.2 ohms. Do I not need a LR atty?

yeah i didnt mean to say the batttery was 2.2 ohm my bad

Hi egor, welcome.

And - to be nice to a new member : Batteries DO have ohms as well :)

Not to start flames - but - the internal resistance of the battery shows by the rise in temperature during charge and discharge. The so-called "high drain" batteries have a low internal resistance, making it possible to charge as discharge at higher ampere values. This is a very simplified version of the physics involved.
(I'm on a self-inflicted Li-Ion battery training these days - lol).

Last - You only need a Riva battery and a cone to make a "full" e-cig. All eq. that you already have with 510-threadings can be used as-is.... oh, and+ you will need a new charger for the Riva batt. - NOT to be used with the small 510 batteries!

Another thing that makes the whole market a little confusing at first is rebranding.

A LOT of different brands of certain models of ecig are coming out of the same factories, I believe.

Technically, my first ecig was a "Support Secret," from a Korean company. (I live in the Republic of Korea.) It is not, and does not say anywhere, 510. BUT...it has a 180mah battery, fits 510 carts and atties...looks like, and IS, in fact, identical to a 510...

Confuses things...

my 510 isnt giving me the TH i want/need and the vapor production is alright it varies sometimes its big sometimes its weak, and ive gone through a 5ml bottle of marlbro flavor in 2 days, im looing into mods but want to know more first

I wouldn't do that right away. First, you really need to hit a PV a little differently than a cigarette. Check out this video. Try higher PG juice or higher nic juice, if you can take it. Also some people will add a few drops of PGA (Everclear) or high proof vodka to their juice to increase throat hit.
