New 808 battery - problem.

I got a new kr808 battery from Litecig Usa. Its the White crystal auto.

At first it worked fine....Then it came time to charge it. First I noticed that when I charged this one the light did not come on like with my original 808 batteries (not sure if that means anything). Then when I went to use it again the light came on when I tried to vape, but I was just getting air. So I adjusted the pin on the battery, and it seemed to work but It was really hard to get a good hit off of it. Also the flavor wasnt quite right, like it turned flavorless somehow. So I switched the same carto to a different battery and the flavor is still wierd. I then tried a different carto and the same thing happened. It seems to me that the battery is somehow messing up my cartomizers.
Does anyone know what is going on?

I dont know what the deal is, but this is now happening with my other batteries. I'm getting a weird taste not quite burnt. The cartos are full, and I've tried it with different juices.
It doesnt happen when i take a short draw on it, only when i take a long draw or a 'regular' one.
Could it be something to do with my charger. It seems like the cartomizers are getting too hot or something.

Well I went ahead and bought a carton of Marlboro Reds, analogs are awesome!

No. I'm kidding. I still don't know whats wrong with that batteries. Apparently ONE of them is still okay. but i did get the new one to work properly with one carto..then I tried a different one and I just got plain air out of it...again. Makes no sense to me.

Hahaha. You figured out the prying up the post thing so that's good. The battery probably is unregulated and coming off the charger at 4.2v. This may be new to you. It can make standard cartos taste a little burnt at first. A freshly filled carto can also take a few puffs to get going. If you overfilled a little, you may not get much at the beginning but it will improve as you puff on it.

Hmm that may be the case, Charlz, thanks for your input. And yes it is new to me. I'm still pretty N00B-ish.

I have confirmed that my 2 original batteries are still okay, still not sure about the new one. It's funny...I actually got a new kit because I was sure all of my stuff was messed up. So now I have an Ego. I guess I'll use the 808's for when Im on the go.
