New Acrylisis Mini

Between work and travel for work I finnaly found time to finish my wifes PV. Truth be told she has been using it for 2 months now and I'm just getting around to posting the pic. She wanted something small but liked my genisis PV.
This unit holds 3ml on board and uses the very small 10440 battery. She carries four batteries but it only takes a few seconds to change the battery so she is happy with it. I put a quarter in front of it for reference.

very cool... how does she feel about the top fire button? I've been building in my head for a few weeks now and I cant decide on a top fire, top angled fire (like some of the grippers), side fire, or face fire.

The choice of materials is nice, it's a very pretty box

I'm from Jamestown IN.
So far she likes the top fire position for the switch.
The switch is magnetic built with opposing fields. I used 400 mesh SS for the wick and 32ga kanthral wire for the coil. The coil connections are brass tubes which I threaded to accept #1 SS screws and washers for easy change. The vapor chamber is also dished out to reclaim condensation. The top and bottom are held together with 4 magnets and steel posts.

The material is acrylic. It can be a little tricky to work with especially with all of the machining in the head.

At the risk of life and limb I was able to get some pics of the unit dissassembled. Please see below and let me know if you have any questions. The machining is almost all internal to the purple block.

Would you be willing to share where you get that swirly acrylic stock?

The acrylic stock came from Wood Crafters. You can also by on line bt searching for "pen blanks" or "pen turning supplies". The acrylic does not react with juice and is easy to work as long as you do not get it too hot from sanding, drilling, or polishing.
