My wife and I have been using Smoke Stik for just over one month and love it. The easier breathing, sense of smell coming back, etc.
A few questions.
1. Are our carts 501 or what number I see referred to in here? Knowing would help follow the threads and conversations in here considerably.
2. We are considering buying the nicotine juice but not sure what amount, how many drops, etc. Have read various posts here but it starts sounding like serious math. I smoked about 1.5 packs a day and she smoked about 1 pack a day. Equivalent doses, amount, drops, what to use?
3. Do the drops go in the Smoke Stik cart or do you buy something different? Do you place drops in new carts or can you kind of "re-dose" and old cart and make it go again?
4. Good nicotine juice suppliers? Should cost what?
Sorry. I'm sure this sounds beyond stupid to many of you veteran vapers but we want to do this right and stay with the e-cig.

I'm hoping someone has the answer to this too as one of my PVs is a SmokeStik.

Yup, I never was good at math. I'm not even worrying about the equivalency anymore.

I use an unbent paperclip, slip in the hole of the cartridge to dislodge the little inner "thingy" and then use a pair of tweezers to pull it out. Then you can pull out the filler, rinse it and dry it with a paper towel. After I reinsert it, I use a syringe to refill...I have no idea how much...just do it slowly because the "thingy" is quite small and doesn't take much liquid. From what I understand the filler will eventually have to be replaced...there is a bunch of info on here about that.

I'll let the more experienced here comment on this.

Nah, don't worry about it. But I do recommend "becoming overwhelmed" with all the sage advice on the forum...read, read, read. The overwhelmed feeling eventually goes away. LOL

Best wishes!

The SmokeStik is an RN4081. Do a forum search for RN4081 (or SmokeStik) and you'll find tons of info.

Nicotine strength depends on how many cigs you smoke(d) daily, and what type (lights, ultra, etc.) Also on how often you use your PV, how long your drags are, etc. It takes some experimentation to get things right. You can always buy liquid in a higher strength and cut it down with zero-nicotine liquid, or glycerine from the drugstore, if it feels too strong. I smoked about 30 menthol lights per day, and started with 24mg liquid. That was too strong, so I cut it down to about 18mg, and that's been good for me.

As for liquid prices, it depends on what quantity you're ordering. Around $7 for 10ml or $15 for 30ml is a good price. And you can check the suppliers' forums for sales and discount codes. Of course, not all liquid is the same, and you get what you pay for... :)
