Hello everyone,
I just purchased my first setup at my local vape shop. I got the vaporesso revenger mini kit and got the ccell cermaic coil (.5ohm) to go with it. My question is this... I am looking to purchase some juices online at mt baker vapor and I am also wanting an additional tank that takes the same gt core ceramic coils, but I have no clue which tank is compatible. The vaporesso line has several different types of coils and there are so many tanks on the site and I have no clue how any of this works and they dont have the same tank I already have which is the vaporesso nrg tank. Oh boy... I hope I didnt confuse anyone and that someone with a lot more experience can step in and help me out. I am already feeling overwhelmed.
Thanks

Welcome to the ECF, Elle! :) "Feeling overwhelmed" is something most, if not all of us, have felt when getting started with vaping. I haven't been vaping long myself but have been on-and-off for about 5 yrs and I, at least, can relate to your angst. I don't have the experience to suggest other "compatible" tanks or coils but I own a couple Tarot Nanos and know a few people who have the Revenger, I can say we've all been pretty pleased with Vaporesso's products. I suppose I should also mention, in addition to the Nanos, I've recently decided(?) to go with MTL vaping and have acquired 4 Vaporesso Nexus kits. I bought the first one a bit over a month ago and was so happy with it I bought 3 more last week and have been loving them, too, for the last 3 days. So, it seems like you're on a good track. I'm sure more members will contribute info in the near future and I wish you the best of luck. :D

I'm sure somebody that has that tank and uses those coils will come along and provide you with an answer to your question. That somebody won't be me because I'm not familiar with either.

However, I think you just learned a valuable lesson when deciding to buy a new piece of vape gear. Do your research first prior to making your purchase.

Go on the manufacturer's website. Hopefully they will provide a list of compatible coils. You Tube reviews may also have that information. You could also ask your question here: Tanks, clearomizers and drop-in coils. Last and not least, perhaps the B & M shop can provide you with that information.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Welcome aboard. You've made a good purchase with the NRG tank. The only other tanks that I know of that use the GT coils are the Vaporesso Cascade tank. There are 4 versions of the Cascade. I have the full size Cascade and it's the smoothest vaping tank that I have. Hope that helps.

Thanks that is a bit helpful I will look into the cascade. I also noticed the veco? its also by vaporesso so I wonder if it will as well. I cant find a straight answer to my question online. I was hoping there would be a list of compatible tanks and coils LOL but so far not looking good. Figured it wouldnt be that simple.

ha ha I did, I'm not entirely new to vaping, but far from a pro. I used to build my own decks with single coils when I started and it just got to be too much and I went back to smoking so I thought getting a tank with premade coils and a better box mod would help. I didnt realize premade coils could be so complicated. I really thought they were universal until I really started to do my research. I do have to say though, that I enjoy the ceramic coil much more than I did my own builds, which were never good to begin with. LOL

The tank you probably have is the Cascade SE which is sometimes called the NRG Mini. On the Vaporesso website it's shown under the Cascade tab. It uses the GT coils and has a base of 22mm. You should be able to use any tank that has a 22mm base on your mini. The Veco tank has a 22mm base but uses the EUC coils which are also excellent coils including ceramic and are relatively inexpensive. It looks like for the near future Vaporesso will base any new tanks around these two coils.

Since the Revenger mini runs on an internal battery, you should really have a backup mod. I would recommend the Vaporesso Nebula. You can use either a 18650 or a 26650 battery and mount any tank, either 22mm or 24.5mm. It works really well and is easy to use and is on sale at Vaporider.net for $29.95. I couldn't pass that up.

I know how overwhelming this all can seem at first. Keep reading and asking questions and it gets easier pretty quickly.

Thanks, Just calling it an NGR tank was confusing to me so you suggestion makes more sense. I will check out the nebula. That sounds like a good deal and your right and do need a back up
