New and wondering why I didn't do this earlier.

Hey folks! I read the forums for a few days and browsed lots of vendor sites, in the end I found a local head shop selling ego kits. They were 30 dollars more expensive than online so the owner threw in 4 free 10 ml juices to keep my business. I've since gone back and purchased two more flavors lol. I first tried an e-cig at the outlet mall here in Orlando, they first tried to hit me up for 170 dollars and as I kept saying no went down to 100. That night I found your site and started doing some research, I also purchased a disposable Blu brand smoke at Walgreens that evening.

I really liked that disposable and was leaning towards ordering a Blu kit but after reading the forums I went with the ego manual and carts. Sorry if I get any terminology wrong, but I love these catridges and the ability to change juices at will. There are so many options out there it was overwhelming but I was anxious to make the switch and start getting analogs out of my life.

Well thats about it, I want to thank you for the wonderful site and info you guys and gals provide..oh out of my six juices I'm loving my efox tobacco with Vaped ape menthol as my daily and kicking back at night vaping efox watermelon :) Three days and I sound like a pro huh? hehe

I used to bash mall ecigs but I don't anymore. They serve their purpose by getting info out to people. I still like to harass them though...LOL. It's always fun to watch the looks on workers' faces when you know more than they do. I've also had several of them want more information from me...websites, is this true?, where can I get this?..kind of stuff. I even had a man who was looking at a Fifty-one Duo stop and listen to me. I gave him my email and helped get an eGo which he really loves and also saved him a ton of money.

Congrats on getting of cigs and picking a good started PV. Even though I'm a modwhore, I still go to my eGo's when the mods get "boring" to me.

Welcome! I'm new as well and I'm still going through the learning curve. I think the hardest part as a noob is figuring out why there are so many choices and what they all do differently. After talking to someone at a store I went with the ego-t(tank) and couldn't be happier. It's simple to use out of the box but leaves the door open to upgrade and try tons of new stuff as you get more comfortable with vaping. Now I have LR carts coming and an LR atomizer plus some little samples from that juicy vapor website. I think I'll try some Halo juice next. My goal is to find a kick .... menthol for daily use and a good dessert flavor to have with coffee in the morning or after dinner. Like others have said... Have fun reading and ordering stuff. It's really turning into something enjoyable to do. :)

Congrats on finding your new (healthier and cheaper) habit! I'm glad you did your research before you bought anything. I'm 8 months in myself and could not be happier for you! I wish you the best of luck and fun on your journey to finding your signature flavor. I must recommend freedomsmokeusa.com. They have the largest selection of flavors that I have been able to find, plus their customer service is WONDERFUL!

Congrats again!

Welcome Rushguy! Really glad you found ECF before going overboard and falling for that $170 kit at the mall or the Blu starter kit. Stick with us and we'll keep you educated! Just when you think you know it all, somebody comes up with something new and the game starts all over again! :D

Welcome to you as well, Steven! The answer to your question is because nobody's vaping style is exactly the same. Everyone likes something a little different and that's why it's good to have such a variety of options available to us. As far as what everything does differently, that could take forever to explain since there are so many options out there!

Think of buying an ecig kinda like buying a car:

do you just want to get from point A to point B
Gas power or electric
color choice
2 door or 4 door
2 wheel or 4 wheel drive
horsepower?
cloth or leather interior

and on and on....................................Why do we have so many choices you ask(?) because we can.

Read the discussions here and discover what people like in juices and ecigs. Remember that personal choices of others may not be the one you eventually end up liking best. Juices are especially personal. The favorite of one person may taste like swill to you!

Buy small at first in juices and develop your own tastes. Generally, if the majority likes something, you can place more faith in a purchase. It's just like anything else ... the music of one person may be just noise to me.

In ecig choices, the 510/Ego family is a safe first choice. It's so popular that there are multitudes of accessory choices in that line.

The Riva 510 Lite bundle from Liberty Flights is very popular at $29.95.
