New "vaper" here. names Bill. ive been "analog" free for almost 3 years. just started vaping to help my gf feel not so left out when she has to smoke every 5 mins. im trying to get her into this. i got a smokeless image battery from a friend and some nice flavors. i havent put it down all week!

Welcome Bill. That's nice of you to be suppotive of your gf like that. Hopefully you will find the right flavor to knock her socks off and she will never want to smoke again.

shes very picky. since she is a pretty heavy smoker, my friend gave her 2 batts. and a bunch of cartos. im trying to find her a flavor similar to marlboro menthol or newport. i know it wont be exact, but, if i can come close i think she will finally kick the analogs. she has a bunch of coffee and caramel flavors and theres hardly any vapor or throat hit and she feels shes not getting the full effect.
i do smoke 0 nic. however, i did try some of her flavors
so delicious haha. the only thing that got me was the throat hit. made me cough alot. never again

Same here...Quit for two years and got on vaping after totally kicking nicotine. Vaping gives us everything we need without the deadly consequences. All my friends smoke. I got 2 of them totally on vaping. They will never go back either.
Buy your GF a pink mod with a cool tank, she might like it
Pinkspot juice is your friend. Expensive but worth it.

Thanks for the info! we are both still new to this whole "hobby" if you will. im sure we will both upgrade in due time. and i agree with everything you need without the harmful effects. i started a business as a result of quitting smoking just cuz i needed somehting to do with my hands. i smoked for 10 yrs
Would the menthol have to have the tobacco flavor or do you think a straight menthol would make her happy? Menthol is one of the easiest things to DIY, and you can give it as much or as little kick as you are in the mood for. If you think she would like it I will give you some guidance.
it has to have the tobacco flavor. she tried a menthol i have. neither of us tried a full flavor yet. i saw a few that she might like on various sites. just trying to narrow it down. im in it for the fruity flavors haha. right now i have pepsi, orange creme, chocolate, anise, ice menthol, and pineapple punch. i think im gonna go with a 555 with menthol added. i also saw on ecblends a newport like flavor i may try also
Yeah I like the fruity, candy, and sometimes spearmint or menthol. No so much the sweets though. I love sweets, but put them in vape form and I can't stand them, even though I want to love them.
If you find something close that needs the menthol kicked up a notch, you can buy menthol crystals for just a few bucks. Mix them 1:1 with PGA let the crystals melt and add a few drops to the juice. I use about 1.5 drops per ml for a plain menthol. Of course you may need less to enhance an already present menthol.

Awesome. I still have tons of research to do haha. No idea what pga is. I guess ill have to turn myself into a mad scientist haha.

I am brand new to ECF but not new to vaping. Been doing it since Jan. 10, 2011. I am also not very adept at forums and posting, so I apologize ahead of time if I am not on top of the lingo or the structure of doing this. Heard about ECF and sounded like something I might learn from so here I am. Will see how it goes!
Yes, PGA is pure grain alcohol. Generally folks around here use Everclear. If you are lucky you live where you can get the 180 proof. FL limit is 151 proof but it works just fine too. Higher alcohol content just dissolves the crystals better.
Helpful hint: When the little dotted line appears below an acronym (like ECF in the above post), hover your mouse over it and it will tell you what it stands for. (Usually. Sometimes people use the same ones for more than one thing. Like BP as you can see if the dots appear below it is for big pharmacies. But on the notcigs forum it is Buzz pro. i see that now haha. usually when you see those dots on a forum, its a stupid ad haha. good to know. PGA wont work. she is a recovering alcoholic. no need to introduce any kind of alcohol to her now. shes been 90 days clean of D&A. im ok with her being addicted to smoking. just want her to be a "healthy" smoker

Michelle, you might try P38 from Aroma Ejuice. I smoked menthols, and that's one of the ones that did the trick for me... Good luck!
