new atty came....quick question

Hello all,

I recieved a joyetech standard 510 atty today, my drip tip fits, however the atty is pretty short and when the drip tip is on, it sits almost on top of the coil. Is this correct or am i missing something?

I think you are talking about the bridge (upside down u shaped mesh). Some protrude more than others. If your drip tip fits normally it should be fine. I just got off my smoktech atty whose bridge is rather large and used it with a regular 510 drip tip and it was ok. I would vape at under 8 watts though, because I noticed the ones with the bigger bridge cause the drip tip to get hotter. My buddy's plastic drip tip warped under the heat. But then again, the baffoon was probably vaping at 10 watts.
