Hey all long time Analog smoker here just ordered my first ecig yesterday after a reccomendation to quit smoking by the missus (more or less I got sick of her whingeing). I got the Aussie blue Ultra pretty much got the first thing I saw also ordered some Dunhill nic and some dunhill ejuice, from heavens-gift.com. Keen as to vape away:2cool:

Hello fellow Aussie.

On legal status, the only state enforcing any ban and not very effectively at that is QLD. Some suppliers even have guarantees to get the nic to your door or they give you your money back even if you are in QLD.

I am doing my best to encourage everyone I meet in Australia (who smokes) to try e cigs.

My missus was quite sceptical of my latest attempt to quit after doing, patches, champix and cold turkey in the past unsuccessfully. The thing is it is much easier to replace one nasty habit with a less nasty one then it is to give something up alltogether. In fact for me it was nearly too easy apart from one little misadventure for a day or so.

Third Aussie here, Same deal with the wife, And she was none to happy about me spending heaps of money on some new fangled cheats way to quit smoking, but after a few months I'm down to 2 analogs a day without even trying. She no longer minds.

:)

I am also looking forward to showing her the poll here which says 6mL of nic juice per day is the average amount used! I am only using 1.3mL per day (40mL since I started) and she thinks I am overdoing it.

Haha sounds like they way to go! The Problem I have is I enjoy analogs!!! Alot!!! So I'm planning on cutting back and eventually dropping them and the Nic and just using the ecig. Anyone used or heard anything about the Aussie blue ultra? Got any recommendations on where to buy juices? And what juices?

The aussie blue ultra appears to be a L88b model. The same as a blu cig or volcano cig. Both have websites you can order from. You can refill the cartomizers with e juice and a 510 or 306 should fit these as well.

Glad you are here Damien. I'm sure though that you will find your blu unsatisfactory after a while...espcially with battory life.....but then you will have us to rely on....when you are ready to move up to something that will keep you more satisfied. So glad you are here and welcome! Please stay! YOU will find all your questions answered...:) ECF is a GREAT source of information! Please stick around!

Hey thanks for all the replys don't think ive ever seen anything like this on any sort of forum, I'll see how I go with the Aussie blue ultra and will probably upgrade to an eGo as they seem very popular! Which is generally a good thing! Are they relaitively easy to mod? I'm quite handy with tools and mechanicle equipment. Anyone ever heard of someone making there own casings? Using a lathe?

Thats what I did...I went from a mini to a joye 510 to a KR8 and then to an EGO and now I am about to go to a mod....Mods use a longer life battery than the Ego and I am really looking forward to it. There are some who make there own mods but there are many who are mass produced with all the problems fixed......Stick around, you will learn a lot here.

G'day mateys
I've been smoking for 12 years now and tried everything under the sun to quit, with no avail... Until now, I'm brand spanking new to ecigs and I know these ingenuous little things are the key to slay my smoking dragon for good.

I'am planning on buying an Aussie blue Australian starter kit as they've come on special ($75 down to $35) at just the right time from ecigs
57% Off Nicotine-Free Electronic Cigarettes Kit with Delivery, Online

Has anyone heard of them or better yet tried them and can offer me tips, comments or cautions?
I really do find e-cigs intriguing and find I have a thirst for info that I just can't seem to quench!
