I use both button tops (AW 1600's) and flat tops (VTC5's). I prefer the firing button action with the buttons (the throw is less), but I'd be driven nuts by the shorter life of the 1600's in lower ohm dual builds.

You can live vicariously thru me Roger. I just snagged 4.
Thanks for the heads up
I'll be the guinea pig / jump on the grenade / take one for the team![]()

Put 4 in the cart just now! Can't wait to see how they do in the EDNA. RTD is my go to for batts. Great service and always fast shipping. I wouldn't be surprised if they show up tomorrow. LOL Just kidding, they'll be here Monday no doubt. Enjoy the day!![]()
My usual builds are between .45 and .5 ohms. I get about 4ml of juice on an AW 1600 battery.
Not Monday. It's Columbus Day [emoji16]

I'd say they are good to go .3 mm is exactly the thickness of one of Rob's business cards, according to my calipers.![]()
Adjusted the points on my '65 Ford Fairlane to 10 RBC and she's purring like a kitten.
For sure that difference is not an issue for woodvils but the verdict is still out on how good they are.
