Hello,

I was wanting to get a new mod/ego type battery but was looking for one that has batteries that can be user replaceable. I have an ego twist now and I understand these rechargeables only have a finite life so I am looking for a battery or mod about the size of an ego that has user replaceable batteries. Any help is appreciated.

  • What is your price range?

  • Mechanical mod (single voltage) or regulated (variable voltage) mod?

To maintain the slimnest and length of a eGo battery, you want to look into mods which use a 14500 battery. Be aware that this battery has limitations in capacity and may only last a few hours on a charge. You'll need about three batteries to last the day.

The L-Rider Robust is a variable voltage mod available in a tube and cube version for around $50. It uses a 14500 IMR high drain battery.

____________

If you don't mind a little larger mod (diameter-wise), consider a MiniZmax (by Segelei or Smoktech). Another variable voltage/wattage regulated mod for around $50. It will use an 18350 IMR battery which will give a little longer battery time. You'll still need 2 - 3 batteries to last the entire day.

Devices with independent batteries that are the size of an eGo battery are somewhat limited and mostly disappointing.

If you really don't want to go bigger, then stick with Twists, Spinners and iTasteVV.

It's simply not worth chasing the day dreams on this question. There are a few 14500 mods, most are pretty and stylish but 600mAh will drive most people completely mad.

Hey thanks for all the info. I was looking to maybe invest in an mvp or vv v3 but I wasn't sure how long the battery would last before it won't take a charge anymore. Maybe thinking too far into things. I didn't realize the 18350 batteries drained so fast. I have an ego twist 1100 mah and that lasts about a day of moderate vaping sometimes a little into the next day. I can't keep extra batteries on me...I will absolutely lose them. Well thanks for the info guys.

ego are the replaceable part, just get 2. The closest thing that will come to the size with replaceable batts would be a 14500 battery mech mod, don't think they have 14500 regulated devices, but I could be wrong, a search might yield resorts, but since that size bat doesn't interest me, am not inclined to search for you. Best of luck finding your Vape Path.
