New Battery?

Alright, I've always been under the impression that whenever you get a new battery you should charge it fully for the first use.

However, I did see someone in another forum around here stating that they're good out of the box.

So which is it with a V4L XL Battery?

Not required. Comes charged from the factory, often about 80%. And LiIon has no practical memory (not over the life of these batteries) so you can discharge and charge as incompletely as you like.

what about with the shortys? im waiting for my first shipment that comes in today and im really dreading it if i have to wait the 6-8 hours or whatever for the first charge. i hope i dont have to..

and the ups man needs to hurry up all this anticipation is making me smoke my analog cloves up a storm 8-o

All V4L batteries arrive nearly fully charged.

Put one on charge & use the other.

whew.. thanks so much guys that really takes alot of my shoulders lol. idk if i would have been able to wait for a charge lol.
makes me that much more excited for my package to come. but ups doesnt come around to my house untill like 5... so i got another hour.. oh well its worth the wait

ur right ur right. i had them mixed up because i was given a ups tracking number. but it did end up coming today from the usps
