Gato, I wondered the same thing seeing the different LED options available, and the discrepancies in the way they were described. Maybe they do build the off color LED models to order? It would be cool to know.

If it's not just some weird website inconsistency, then I would guess it's because some white/black hybrid blems were caught early on in the QC process, before they were built...

Anyway, I think it's good of ProVape to announce the P3 (through pbusardo), and then offer out the V2.5 blems.. thereby giving potential purchasers the option..

Imagine if it had been done vice-versa?

I am not holding my breath waiting for V3. I am quite pleased with the 2.5's for the time being. The next iteration of the Holy One will be revealed when the time is right for it. I have forsaken all others for the Provari, and will gratefully accept the coming of V3 when the angelic trumpets herald its presence among us...:) ;)

Just a theory mind you, but I think the 3 may be a whole different beast.
Maybe they're clearing blem stock in advance - but I kind of think the v2.5 will continue to be available after the P3 launches - that they're different enough to sell both. Like the ProVape1, ProVari, and P3 being different lines.

Ok now I am sitting here in agony trying to decide should I go ahead and get me another Provari that I already have or save my money and wait and see what the V3 will be? Im not into wattage but I am holding my breath that maybe it will have a flat top.

Well I think Im just going to sit tight right now. I already have one and the only reason I wanted another one was to keep one in my carry case so I wouldn't have to keep changing out the end caps when I left the house. I can suck it up and do a while longer.

If I had waited I could have purchased a new unit with accessories on Memorial Day for less than I paid for the blemished unit plus accessories yesterday. :(

From ProVape's site:

"This is a brand new device. There are small scuff marks, nicks, bumps, scratches or other imperfections that make this a blem. This device comes with a full warranty..."

Quite a few people here have bought (at least) one blem.. And many cannot even find the blemish!

I've seen a few photos who have found it.. They tend to be quite minor, as in a tiny faint scratch that any owner might someday cause themselves...

The worst I've seen is the word "Mini" isn't stamped deep enough into the steel -- which actually didn't look too bad, and was sort of cool because it was fairly unique!

Seriously, you might have to use a magnifying glass to find yours..

Have you checked out the ProVape factory tour videos..? At every step of the way, there are eyes checking the QC which is very stringent..

Around the 19:00 mark in the 1st video, they show some examples of blems.. That scratch on the end cap was tiny!

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm sure I'll be very happy with my purchase.
