I've been using this calculator since Peng suggested it and I am about to switch to a Mac computer, is there a Mac,iPad, or Android version?
Unfortunately not, but I'm using it on my Mac in a virtual machine environment (VMware) and Wine (crossover).

Version 7.0.0.2 is available. It includes:

1. In the "Cost" area of the ingredient window you will notice a dropdown allowing you to select MLs, ounces, liters, etc... When you click the "Add to inventory" button the amount entered will be converted to MLs and then added to your inventory.

2. Under certain conditions the "Tools->Modify existing recipe" was throwing an exception when launched. Fixed.

3. Made the "Create flavor base" window a sizable window.

4. Elmasryahmed was having a strange issue when creating a flavor base which I am unable to replicate on 3 of my PCs. My conclusion is that something weird is occurring when running under VMWare on the MAC. I made some changes in hopes that it will resolve the issue. I am waiting on feedback since I am unable to test the issue.

I'm curious if anyone can help me with notes about ingredients.

I started using recipes for my tasting notes on ingredients. For example, I would make a recipe called "Butterscotch test" with a 3ml amount, and then in the notes area of the recipe I would write about what each brands flavor would taste like and comparing them. FA Butterscotch tastes like, FLV Butterscotch tastes like, and so on with all my different brands.

I was thinking that it would be more efficient to keep flavor notes in the ingredients editor window under the notes section there.

Does anyone know if you can print out your notes from the ingredients section? Or view them all together in a separate window or excel file? I think it would be great to see all your notes on my different flavors in one place.

Hi, i had a slight issue earlier today... A number if my ingredients weren't showing up when creating a new recipe. When i clicked on the ingredients tab they were there, but not when trying to add them to the recipe. I restarted the program several time but finally overcame to issue by deleting the flavour completely and then adding it again to the ingredients list.

I am guessing that you had the "Deactivate" checked for the ingredient. This tells the calculator to not show the ingredient in the dropdown list in the recipe window.

Click "Edit->Ingredient Editor". This will show you all of your ingredients in a grid format, including the notes. From the grid you can Copy/Paste into another application such as Excel.

When I try to create a new recipe, the nic drop down shows none...I fear I may have checked or unchecked a box, but I can't find it. Can you suggest something?
(I love the features I've learned, so much here it may take me a while to learn everything. Took a moment and put a donation...thanks so much!)
The first thing you need to do is define the ingredients that you will use in your recipe. You define them once and they will be available for all of your ingredients.
- Click the "Ingredients" button on the top menu bar.
- Click the "New" button and define your ingredient.
- For Nicotine ingredients make sure you select the nicotine "Ingredient type" and at a minimum define the nicotine level and PG/VG levels.
- Also add your flavor ingredients and select an "Ingredient type" of flavor.

After you create the ingredients they will show in the dropdown list on the recipe window.

Here's an idea that would help me out and possibly others too...

My recipe list is now about 70 recipes long. When i'm developing a new recipe and before it's made i'll call it something like SA1 (meaning strawberry, apple 1). Once i make it, i'll then call it SA1 8020 4. Then from then on, each time i modify the recipe i'll call it SA2, then SA3, SA4, blah blah...
I normally develop 3 or 4 recipes at a time but i've got to the stage now where it's hard, looking at the list to see what i'm working on or what's been developed.
I don't want to start another recipe file because i like to see what works and what doesn't work in my notes.
Using groups work, but it's hard to see whats in each group when they're all in one list.
I realise you have the ratings for each recipe but i feel there could be something else to distinguish recipes better.

My idea:
Have group colors. When you enter a recipe into a group, have an option for highlighting any additions to that group in a color of your choice.
You click on the recipe tab, the drop down list shows you all your grouped development recipes in red, all your developed recipes in green and so fourth...

Just got my very first order in today. Will give this calc a try this weekend :D

I just started playing with this calculator. So far I find it excellent with it's ability to both import and export from many different formats. Unfortuantely I imported many recipies from Ejuicemeup, before even adding my own flavorings/concentrates, and now I've got warnings stuck in my notes.

Is there any way to remove all those warnings easily?

Is it a warning about inventory amount?!

    big_vape,
A word of warning from experience when I imported recipes - the ingredient names weren't consistent, ie TFA Vanilla Custard and Vanilla Custard TFA. I spent a bit of time going through Edit->Find and Replace Ingredients to clean this up. Make sure you check the box for 'Delete Find Ingredient'. I did the clean up for the ingredients I was adding to inventory first so I was good to go. Others I caught as time went on.

The percentages listed in "Search for recipes" seem inaccurate, or my understanding is flawed.

For example, in Edit > Search for recipes, I checkmark "FA Cookie" and click "Search." The result says:
"20.00% of recipe ingredients in searched ingredients: Deeks Berry Custard"

But Deeks Berry Custard uses 0.5% FA Cookie, with 16% total flavoring. So FA Cookie isn't 20% of that recipes flavorings. It's more like 3%.

I don't see where FA Cookie is 20% of anything. Other searches have similar results. What am I missing?
