Hiya, I was wondering if there was a way to add a 'last made on' field'? Like maybe if you clicked to remove ingredients from inventory, that would date stamp it so that when you bring that recipe up again, it will tell you when you last made it. Or if you've ever made it.
I will look into adding.

Ok HotRod and Ratchet, I guess I misinterpreted it.
I still don't know why some of my ingredients were imported as 1.036g.
If the ingredient being imported is marked as being 100% PG, the ingredient will be set to 1.036g (the weight of PG). If the ingredient is marked as being 0% PG and VG, it will be set to a weight of 1g.
Now I've been using this for a while and I have this doubt:
- How do I merge 3+ recipes? Does it matter or the final result will be the same if I merge 2 and then merge the result with another? Math isn't really my playground... :)
It will not make any difference in the result.
The purpose of the merge function is to provide you with a resulting recipe of combining two recipes. You specify how much of each recipe that you are combining and it will calculate the percentages of all of the ingredients to create the combined recipe and give you the option to save the combined recipe.

Found a small bug in 4.0.3.8 "copy recipe". With 3 nic concentrations in inventory (5,6,10%), when I do copy recipe on an existing recipe that uses the 10% nic, then use the dropdown to pick 6% nic, only the 5% and 10% nics show up as choices. I tried restarting, still wasnt there. If I create the recipe from scratch, it's there.

I just tried to replicate and couldn't make this happen. Were you doing the copy from the Edit->Copy recipe option? If you go to the Ingredients window did the 6% nic completely disappear from your inventory? I am going to PM you to learn more details.

HotRod, I have linked to this thread in my blog about DIY math, but want to make sure that is OK with you. If not, or if you would like me to do so differently, let me know. And thanks for being here and doing what you do, it is a great service to the vaping community.

I have no problem with links to this thread.

A feature I could really use is the ability to copy/paste the recipe in a simple plain text format. Like when you click the D for the notes box, another button like that to pop out a little box that would allow me to copy from. I make like 20 different recipes in a row, so I copy the recipe into a list of recipes and then make 20 different juices at a time ingredient by ingredient. This program is perfect but limits me to making one recipe at a time.

That said, a secondary feature that would allow me to create a list of recipes all in a row that I could copy/paste would be icing on the cake.

Please message me if my request is unclear I'm definitely willing to chip in some $ via paypal if I can use your software to save myself some time.

Send me a PM with a rough format of what you would like the data that is "copied" to look like when you "paste" it into a document such as notepad.

Hotrod, I too have often had the need to send a recipe to someone, without having to enter the recipe by hand. The "export file" function works but the product is in a spreadsheet format that can not be easily edited, i.e., eliminate all the info produced except for the recipe. Something similar to a "print screen" of the Juice Calculator window would be fine, or something that could easily be edited in Notepad or whatever.

I am constantly fascinated by how well your program works, and don't know what I would do without it. Thank you again. This suggestion today is one that would make my particular use more convenient.

Would you want it to look something like the printout when you print or did you have something else in mind? Any examples would help.

Rod, would it be possible to just include the text for the recipe in the "Notes" section like below?
Perhaps the plain text of the recipe could go automatically 4 lines or so below any notes that may already exist for recipe.

Download V4.0.4.3 which I just made available.
I added a context menu that is launched when you right click on the recipe window (right click anywhere except in the notes field and the numeric up/down controls). There is an option to "Copy recipe to the clipboard". After copying, paste it into something such as notepad, Word, etc...

Does this do what you were after?
