That would work. It is not a field that would need lots of editing so deleting would work.

Awesome @HotRod19579! I have to wait untill tomorrow to try in my Windows laptop, since I still haven't figure it out how to make it work on Linux Ubuntu.
Huh - I'm surprised it won't run under Wine. The program is backwards compatible back to Windows XP, if I'm not mistaken. I'd try it, but unfortunately Microsoft decided that no other OS is allowed to run on the new BIOS. Can't even dual boot. 
I don't have a Mac and can't test it but other users have reported that it runs under Wine and Ubuntu. I am using the .Net framework 4.0 to support users running Windows XP.

Any plans to have a database of flavours from existing merchants with their respective details already input (specific gravities etc)?

I can not find away to save an ingredient once its added...I have tried and tried but can not add my ingredients and exit the program without being told I have unsaved changes to recipes/and or ingredients...DO YOU WISH TO CLOSE WITHOUT SAVING...YES OR NO...If I choose YES...then I have no ingredients in my inventory...if I choose NO...then I have no idea what to do from there...I have used every SAVE button I can use and it changes nothing...
I can see all the ingredients in the inventory listing with all the correct information...looks great...so I'm getting them in there...just can't find away to SAVE them so I can exit the program and have them there when I next open the program!!

WELL...it seems as if this wonderful program just calmly led me to an AWAKENING...and I now have seen the light...I am now in the fold...I got me some ingredients in my inventory that is there every time I open the program....oh how sweet!!
Now if I can get my recipes built up and save them....I'll be in vape heaven!!
There's a learning curve to everything. Don't sweat the small stuff. I entered in ~220 flavors along with inventories from a multitude of manufacturers. Added about 50 recipes too all within an afternoon. I think I vaped 10 mils of liquid but now I'm set.

This app is hands down best in show! I love it, I love how I can keep my recipe file on a network share and use it across multiple computers.
Any thoughts on a mobile version? Just so when in out and about I can check what ratios I used in what recipes. I use Google docs and sheets for my long term tasting notes but having my recipes and inventory available while mobile (even if read only) would be fantastic.
Better yet would be a way to publish recipes/inventory/ingredients online. I could EASILY this this being useful in the reddit DIY community (among others), like a simple "Share" button that generates some really basic formatting with a recipe name, list of ingredients, and percentages.

Well...I've still got a lot to learn about the way this thing works....
I couldn't seem to get the Inventory Add/Subtract to work but maybe I've got it figured out now...but I don't know if its correct. I did the Add/Subtract after each new recipe was created and saved and it seemed to work on 3 of the 6 recipes I entered but not on the others...and even though I could see the inventory reduced on those recipes it was not showing up as being deducted in the inventory screen....but i went back through and opened each recipe and did the Add/Subtract on each one and hit the SAVE button each time and it looks like it's deducted the amounts...
I will continue to work it because this thing is awesome so far....with doing a mix by weight its so much easier!!

Let me explain the basic structure of the calculator and I believe that might help. Many of the PC based calculators store each recipe in its own file. The file contains the recipe along with the ingredients you entered. When you create a new recipe you have to create a new file and re-enter the ingredients used by that recipe. If you have 100 recipes you have 100 files.
This calculator has a single file that holds all of your recipes and all of your ingredients. When you launch the calculator it remembers the last file that you had opened and opens it automatically. Most of us only have a need to maintain one file. As you add ingredients and add recipes they are added to the file that you have opened but the file is not saved until you either click the "Save" button on the ribbon bar or click the "File->Save" menu item. If you try to close the calculator after making changes you will receive a warning that you have unsaved changes. The only thing you need to do is click the "Save" button.
The very first time you use the calculator it opens an empty file. After adding recipes and ingredients you will need to do a "File->Save as" to save the new file and give it a name.
I am finding my way around..but what I did wrong to begin with was enter all my ingredients...which is only 13 or so...then started saving the recipes created using the inventory and that is when I saw that it was a single file with everything in that one file. This is a little awkward but it's working for me now.
I found that once you work it and find how it works as for the saving and the way it save's...then its easy to use.
I found out that the Nicotine does not show as the corrected amounts when I bring up a recipe that uses no Nic....but when I bring up one that does use Nic..then the inventory will show the lowered amount of the Nic...which led me to see that it shows the correct inventory only for the ingredients used in that recipe.
This old goat's just having to learn to graze in a new pasture....but he's find plenty of good green grass!!
