Version 6.0.3.8 is available.
1. It adds the ability to update the shopping list from the "View->Current inventory" window.
2. It should resolve the problem that Elmasryahmed was having with the "mouse wheel" options.

Elmasryahmed, I am unable to test the specifics of your setup. Can you let me know if the problem you were having is resolved?

Wanted to thank you for this, though I'm just getting started.
I do need some help and info if I may:
One: I was trying to upload some flavors that I have had around for a couple of years from the DIY Flavorshack. I think I found them, but not sure if it's right. Hard to find the names if the store discontinued the flavor names.
Two: I'm going to put one of the recipes that was successful when I made it using e-juicemeup program, but your's is telling me not enough VG values. Am I doing something wrong? At the time I made it, was using one of the old flavors, plus a pure PG 60mg nic in it. ( Guess the system won't let me share the file here, so here is the dropbox link to it: Dropbox - Maple Syrup.xml ).

and Three: Where should I put the NETs that I'm making?? as a flavor additive??

1) I would add the flavors based upon what they are labeled as on the bottles.
2) Check to ensure your nic and all flavorings have the correct PG settings. What PG/VG percentage do you have the recipe set to? I see this in your recipe:

Ingredient
CumulativeCostPerML>0</CumulativeCostPerML
Name>maple</Name
DefaultPercentage>0.1</DefaultPercentage
DefaultPGPercentage>0</DefaultPGPercentage
DefaultVGPercentage>0</DefaultVGPercentage

Which means you have your maple flavoring not set to 100% PG. Your other flavorings may be the same way.

3) I have my NET's as a flavor

Ditto on what penguiness said.

Your Cotton Candy and Sweetner are set to 100% PG and you are adding 25% (15% + 10%) to your recipe.

Your Nicotine is 100% PG and to meet the requested nicotine level you are adding 2ml which is 40% of the total recipe. Making the total amount of PG in the recipe 65%.

At this point your recipe contains 65% PG leaving room for only 35% VG. You requested that the recipe be 25/75 PG/VG. That is not possible and why the warning message is being produced. You will notice in the "Results" are of the recipe window that it is saying that the final recipe is 65/35 PG/VG.

If this is the recipe that you imported directly from EJuiceMeUp with no changes I would be curious to see the original EJuiceMeUp file that you imported. EJuiceMeUp should have been showing you the standard negative values indicating "something is wrong".

To be honest, I don't know what the flavor has in it, if it is PG or VG. Should I assume PG because they flow faster than VG??

Unless you specifically purchase 100% VG flavorings (and you would certainly know if you did), your flavorings are all 100% PG.

Nicotine can be 100% of either, or a combination of both in about any configuration you can think of to total 100%.

ok, that helps. Will go back to the program and start tweaking it so it reads right.
Hotrod, will post the original recipes for you in my Dropbox.

ETA: made a folder to hold everything in: Dropbox - E juice

There were 3 recipes in your DropBox folder. EJuiceMeUp gave no warnings for any of the recipes. I imported the recipes into JuiceCalculator and although I do show some warnings, none of the warnings were related to not being able to produce the recipe (not enough PG or VG). The warnings I see are related to inventory and not being able to calculate the cost of the recipe (you can turn these warnings off). Both calculators are producing the same resulting recipe.

I opened the XML files in your DropBox folder for the same recipes and I am getting the warning messages that you described but this is caused by a change that you made to the recipe. For instance; you imported an ingredient called “cotton candy” but it appears that you created a new ingredient called “FW – Cotton Candy”. When you created “FW – Cotton Candy” you said that it was 100% PG whereas “cotton candy” is 0% PG. You did this for all of your ingredients and this is what is trigging the warning messages that you describe. If you make the same changes in EJuiceMeUp you will see the “negative numbers” message.

Also, I think you might not understand another difference with the JuiceCalculator since you had 3 XML files all with names of the recipes. In the JuiceCalculator you create a single file which holds all of your recipes and all of your ingredients. You might name this file something like “All of my recipes”.
It appears that after you created each of your recipes that you did a “File->Save As” and gave the file the name of the recipe. This is okay however this makes a new copy of all of your ingredients and the recipes in thefile. If you update an ingredient or recipe in one file the update is not reflected in the other files. Whereas, if you save all of your ingredients and ingredients in a single file (All of my recipes), a change to an ingredient will be reflected in all recipes that use the ingredient.

Under normal circumstances you want to create a “juice” file named something such as “All of my recipes”. To create the initial file you do a “File->Save as” and provide a name. You then add (or import) other recipes and ingredients and do a “File->Save” to save the additional ingredients and/or recipes in the file. The name of the file that you have opened is always displayed in the title bar of the calculator.

Also, I sent you a PM with another observation that I made.

Hotrod, I've stumbled across another irritating issue with the program. I frequently use "copy recipe" if I want to modify an existing recipe with slight flavor changes and to save them with a slightly different name, adding 2 or 3 or whatever. Using "categories" the newly named recipe disappears from view and you have to go hunt for it, since the "category" doesn't automatically transfer with the name change. Not a big deal really, but an irritation, to me anyway.

That is an over site on my part, the copy should also copy the category. I will address in the next version.

FYI: getting a 404 on the Google Drive link from the #1 post.

Update: seems to run fine on linux:
winetricks dotnet40
wine setup.exe
wine EJuiceCalculator.exe
The link in post one went bad and I had to replace it. I am unable to update that post. The new link is discussed in several other posts. Once you have the calculator installed you can get to the current links from the Help menu but at that point you shouldn't need the links, there is an auto update feature in the calculator. Also, there is another link that you can download from, diyjuicecalculator.com.

Is there another (better?) way to sort/organize recipes than with ratings and categories? I'd like a way to keep recipes but filter them out of the list. Maybe a way to show more than one category at a time. Like a filtered list in Excel. This way one could choose the categories one wants to see and hide the others like an inactive list. Think previous versions of recipes...
A way to compare two versions of recipe side by side would be handy too. I currently print the versions to PDF and view them side by side. This works but, could be easier, more fluid.

I also wonder what the purpose of inactivating an ingredient is? I assumed this would hide it but doing so does not.

One more question, what is the intended purpose of folders in the ingredient editor and how is this feature used?
