new carts fit very loose in atty. does heat expand them?

so i bought some new empty carts to expand my flavor options and replace some of the ones that dont quite fit snug and to hopefully avoid a lot of leaking. but a bunch of these new carts fit worse! and will literally fall out if tilted upside down! will they expand after being used and fit better? i dont think so but i thought i might as well post it.

My experience tells me they actually shrink with age. Also when they do heat up the metal expands more than the plastic.

dang. i was thinking of superglueing something to increase the diameter of my old carts to make them fit better. like a piece of string

Are you 100% sure that you bought carts that are compatible with your PV?

ps: superglue near a hot atty is a bad idea.

You can squeeze (even bite) the atty end of the cart a little bit...this will take it "out of round" and make it more snug.

yea i have a joye 510 and ordered joye 510 carts. they look exactly like theyre supposed to. thought the super glue wasnt a good idea :/ crimping the atty could work but wouldnt that cause it to leak even more?

Crimping a little should work. another thing you can do is take a hot needle to the cart and poke some raised bumps on the outside of it to snug it up.
