New chick nerding out on vaping

Hi All! I just started vaping on Easter Sunday, and so far I've smoked less than a full analog in the past two weeks :w00t:, loving vaping!

But now my brain is numb, was everyone else this dumbfounded at first? There is just so much info out there! Really glad I found ECF, but even here there is an absolute overload of information, even just reading the sticky posts feels endless. I love to read, but , after all this, I'm going to end up billing clients at my day job for cartos & attys instead of supplies and postage. 8-o

My main questions right now:

Is the short answer to cleaning my gear that I can: (using vodka) soak it, shake it, wipe it, dry it? And how often is it necessary to clean it?

When I first got my ego ce5 I wasn't made aware (the booklet contains VERY basic info) of how often I should clean out my carto/atty, and so far I haven't cleaned anything out, just wiped out with paper towels, and I let the juice sit in there and refill as needed (I have 3 cartos going with different juices)....

You're plan for cleaning the ce5 is fine! When? If you're system is getting harder to draw or starting to taste off to you. It's also a good idea to wipe off the connections daily and take a q-tip to the battery connection also.

If you're not changing juices and the system is working fine for you, you don't need to clean it out. Sometimes the juice will get darker, but if it tastes fine to you, don't worry.

That help you any Erika?

SupplyDaddy - Yes! That helps a ton :)

I do blow it out a few times a day and wipe off all the threads and the mouthpiece when I add juice or if it's gotten too gurgly or warm.

Aceman12 - I might have the wrong terminology - is a clearomizer the same as a carto? It's a tank with measuring units on the side, I squeeze the juice into it...

Thanx a bunch for the help, guys, I tend to be on the paranoid side...

If you have the CE5's as you said you do, you can take them apart to clean and replace the coils..
