just ordered 8 3.0v 1000mah batteries from china. now all I have to do is get the art ready, then I'm ordering my first chuck. WAHOO!! I've already got a good stock of 18650's for my "oh my god that's bright" flashlight.

I've read quite a bit about batteries n so forth, but no one has said what the difference between using 2 3.0v and 2 3.6(7) protected is.. does the protection circuit cut down the available voltage? I currently use a passthrough at home, so I'm used to 5v, but I've heard higher voltage can rip your lips off with a carto.

I believe the protection is too keep the batteries from heating up and going boom if there is a short and/or overcharging and/or overdraining.

I like vaping at 6.0, a lot of people say 5.0 is the sweet spot. I use both 2X3.0 and 2X3.7 and like them both for different juices.

In my assessment, I notice you lose flavor at 7.4 volts with the tradeoff of bigger vapor/TH. Also, you have to wait between draws a little more judiciously as the atty heats up pretty quick.

I like my Atomic fireball at 7.4, but it makes my rootbeer taste like hammered .....

It's always good to have options :) Chuck gives you plenty of options...3.7...6.0...7.4...and is also a fine self defense tool.

Also can be used as a plum bob if you tie a string to it.... the usefulness of a Chuck is limited only by your imagination.

**Disclaimer**
I don't have my adapters yet, so all of my experience has been with a high voltage 510. Chuck will eat stock attys... and Highping will throw a Buick at you if you stomp too many attys.... he is freakishly strong and throws with pinpoint accuracy.

Not sure about the cartos, but word on the street is that Cartomizers at 6.0 is bueno!

Yep the wait is long, and painful, sometimes frustrating. There will be tears of pain, sorrow, and longing, and then tears of joy... and then tears when your wife whacks you on top of your favorite head with the Chuck because you didn't refill her atomic fireball carts.

But its a little like buying a custom Ferrari from Italy, as opposed to buying a Honda off the lot... Only it doesn't help you pick up chicks... then again it might... I dunno... my wife is always *$7#blocking me.

Since getting my Chucks, I have pretty much forsaken all others... I still use the other ones, but mostly its cuz I already paid for them, and in some cases... more $$$ than I paid for Chuck.
