Can you please tell me the physical dimensions of the tank atomizer used in the V-pipe?

I.e. total length of the tube portion, excluding 510 thread and mouthpiece, and the diameter of the tube, excluding the central grip ring.

Also what is the coil resistance? I've seen only one mention online, which said "20 ohm" on the web page. I assume it meant to say 2.0 ohm? Is that correct?

It seems to me that this pipe should be compatible with a fairly large number of alternative cartomizers and clearomizers, since from what I can determine, it has a standard 510 connection and the mouthpiece doesn't rely on the atomizer itself for attachment, but simply surrounds the end of it, hence my presumption that any atomizer that fits within the same dimensions of the stock atomizer could work.

E.g. if one of these would work

$2.04 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer for V10 / EGO / KGO / 510 / 510-T / EGO-T at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

then I could use the same atomizer in both the pipe and my mini gripper (which already use the same battery type) and be able to save more by ordering larger lots and have less hassle switching between mods (I like interoperability alot).

Yes? No?

I have a vPipe and it's not exactly a standard atomizer than any 510 cartomizer/adapter can fit into. I don't have it with me, but I can take measurements later tonight. I tried a standard 9.2mm cartomizer and the mouthpiece totally relies on the central ring to actually hold on to the pipe. I remember mine clocking in at 1.9Ω - so it's probably in the 1.8Ω to 2.2Ω range.

That being said, it's a nice pipe mod - the automatic sensor on mine is a little stiffer than I expected, but it does work very well. I've gone through 8mL of e-liquid before I noticed that there was some major condensation going on in the pipe body around the connector.

I have a Jazz ePipe sitting next to it. They're just two totally different beasts to make a fair comparison. If you have the cash, I would definitely think about a Jazz ePipe over the vPipe - it might fit better what you're looking for since it does use a standard 510 connection and doesn't do anything funky with the mouthpiece. That being said, I do like that the vPipe is automatic and the shape is very similar to my Savinelli, so I'm used to the grip. I might end up modd'ing the Savinelli at some point though.

I agree

A whole mess of Jazz ePipes just went up for sale this week at their new and exclusive US retailer, epipemods.com
